I usually don’t do this, but as a patron for 10 plus years, I have to say something. Tonight when I was sitting there waiting on our food, a tall cook with a clear gown, white shirt, and black pants with dreads, went into the bathroom with his cooking gloves on. He stayed in there about 10 minutes, and to my shock, he came out of the bathroom with the same gloves on and went back into the kitchen. Please teach proper handwashing, especially to those who prepare the food.

Best fried chicken my husband has had in ages. I had the mashed potato bowl w/chicken. The biscuits are cloud soft. This place is like eating Sunday dinner at grandma's house. I give them 10 🌟. I highly recommend!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Been here many times with the inlaws. Great place. Good chicken, as to be expected, but was surprised with how good their burgers and seafood was. Also, try the chicken salad. I hate chicken salad, but this? Amazing. Fast service, and friendly staff. Will definitely go back.

I usually get a 3 piece or 5 piece & SMASH IT.. but today is did the fish plate with the dirty rice AND a 3 piece wing plate with dirty rice 2GEAUX! I mean REAL DIRTY RICE! MY MY MY, MYMYMY MY!! *Johnny Gill voice* 🔥🍽️🍾💯! Fast forward, my plate is empty! The other one is almost gone but I'll save it for tomorrow..
This place is not a hidden gem, so IYKYK! A legendary restaurant! Everything is THE TRUTH from the dirty rice to the homemade lemonade to the peppers to the fried chicken to EVERYTHING! I do not exaggerate. I do not lie.

Fish, shrimp, and chicken were good! I was highly disappointed with the rice dressing. It tasted as if it had sat under a hot box light all day. Not tasty at all. Onion rings and lemonade were the best thing on the menu.
Whatever you do, PLEASE DO NOT ORDER THE DRUMETTES!!! It is a total ripoff. They give more flats than drumettes, and the size of the flats are smaller than the size of a chicken nugget. RIDICULOUS!!! Hold onto your money! If I could rate them one star, I would!

Bought a large grilled shrimp salad for myself and my husband. My husband had 8 shrimp on his salad and i had 9. They were terrible. Definitely didn't taste like a grilled shrimp salad.
