This was an unexpected find! We are driving from New Orleans back home to the Dallas area. My co-pilot adores good Creole and Louisiana food. The place we had wanted to stop at was closed for renovations, so we asked Google what Cajun restaurants were nearby. It's very clean, you order at the counter and they had two tables for inside dining. In spite of it being a seafood restaurant, there is very little odor of fish. Best steak in the area and jambalaya. They serve many things at a reasonable prices. They are local and have a great following. They are active in the community helping out at the local church and other restaurants.

I've never had a bad meal here. Fried seafood and chicken are super good here...cut thin, which is very nice. Boudin and cracklins products were good. One of the first times having chicken cracklins was here...they set the bar.I have bought live crawfish from Jarreau's—the crawfish are a veryy good size,not small, and the price was reasonable.The service is always friendly and relatively speedy.I recommend.
