“Best seafood around and the waitresses are usually great. The table we sat at was dirty but the hostess reluctantly cleaned it. They finally changed out the rusty buckets on the tables which is great. We usually go here 4-5 times a month. Highly recommended“

Seating is a small area but not crowded feeling ! Drive up window also - give order , drive around , park , and shortly the meal is delivered to your car ! “I’m on the PTO for a large school here in Pineville.We celebrated teacher appreciation today with a camping theme lunch that featured poboys. The po boys was a complete hit. AB and the rest of the staff there were a pleasure to deal with even when I called last minute to add a vegetable poboy to my order. They even sent plates and Napkins with our order they went above and beyond for us. I can’t thank them enough for helping us show the staff how appreciated they are.“

“I can NOT SAY ENOUGH WONDERFUL THINGS about the Mother’s Day buffet. My family enjoyed the phenomenal Easter buffet and looked forward to the Mother’s Day; let me say, we were impressed once again. So many wonderful things I could not sample everything but here are my favorites 1. The eggs Benedict … this delicious golden yolk cascaded down, mingling with the silky thyme hollandaise to infuse into the soft English muffin…. Absolute delish!!! 2. The shrimp and grits …. Perfectly cooked spicy shrimp with Gouda grits was a testimony to why southern Louisiana cuisine reigns supreme …. And the Monica sauce elevates it to elegance while still your tummy is pampered with down home comfort. 3. The fried fish! This is a chef’s secret because it was not traditional fried fish. Whatever the secret, it delivered scrumptiousness in every crispy tender bite! “Ms. Rachel was our waitress and cocktail provider. She was so friendly. The hummus she recommended for our starter really kicked off the meal. Her drinks were delicious and refreshing. Her cucumber Gin and Tonic was a sparkling surprise that went really well with my perfectly barely seared Tuna steak with grilled pineapple and jasmine rice with a wasabi honey sauce that could have been drunk. My honey got a steak that was cooked just how we like it: RARE. YUM! NOT TOO SALTY. I hate a good piece of meat that is ruined by over salting. I loved the layout of the outside eating area with all of the flowers and the super groovy music. They had Townes Van Zandt, Merle Haggard, and Tyler Childers playing over the speakers. It is by far the best dining experience I've had in a long time. I usually end up regretting going out and wish I had just cooked at home instead of wasting my money on restaurant food. They get a 100% approval rating for atmosphere, taste, and service! Who knew such a gem was waiting on an out of the blue Louisiana adventure!?“

“If you go, give your tip directly to your server in cash and tell them it's not a tip, but a gift. Koal's pays their employees weak pay and acts like they're doing them a favor. Multiple employees over the years have told me Koal's keeps the tips we pay for the servers to have saying that the employees can have them if they want to make $2 an hour. Love the food there, but I won't support them after finding this out.“

“I never leave five star reviews because no place is perfect. But this place is the exception. I don't know the chefs, but they cook food that ruins every other restaurants' food. I've eaten in many states and five countries, but this place is my favorite. The staff (shout out to Chris, Megan, Lauren, Kristen, Treyvon, and the rest) are mind-blowing in how far they go. By now, I've eaten most things on the menu, except the salad, and each was absolutely delicious. I have been back and will be back again.“

“Mother's Day 2024 was much first visit there. I entered a contest by writing an essay about my Mom ( my biological mom has been deceased for years, so I wrote about my spiritual Mom (pastor's wife) and I won a sack of crawfish with fixings for her! She was over the moon happy. The meal was amazing! When the cooler was opened, you could smell a balance of seasonings. The customer service was amazing! Cheyenne is so nice. We had a great conversation! My family looks forward to eating meals from Debarge's again!“

“I've been to this establishment on two occasions traveling from Texas. The first time was last summer the food was good. And my second time was 7-12-2025 food still good. My only complaint was the overall drive up appeal to the restaurant. The landscaping was horrible no appeal at all. The building itself needs painting badly. Parking lot needs attention such as restriping parking spaces etc. The inside floors were greasy and slippery. The men's restroom was smelly urininals were very dirty. Which probably the reason for the smell. If the things I mentioned. were adressed and fixed. The business for this place would increase.“

“I got the Maki Roll Lunch special which came with a salmon roll, spicy tuna, and California roll. Fish was fresh, food came out fast. The issue was that the rice was not sushi rice (usually flavored with sugar, mirin, etc;) but just plain white jasmine rice that was a little bit too dry to be used for sushi. The ratio of fish to rice is also not great, too much rice.
The rolls were also cut into uneven pieces, with some too thick. Honestly I picked off all the rice and just ate the inside of the rolls.

The service was good, food came fast. Large portions. It’s clean inside. I would probably just order sashimi next time.

Salmon roll- 4/5 due to freshness of salmon. Rice sucked.

California roll- 2/5. Rice ruined it. Some pieces too thick.

Spicy tuna roll-1/5. Horrible rice. The spicy tuna also had a weird flavor and was not enjoyable.“

“EXCELLENT FOOD as well as EXCELLENT SERVICE. My family and I went to Paradise Catfish Kitchen Last Night. I had The Jumbo Fried Shrimp Which were Delicious. My family had an assortment of items on the menu, All of Which were Delicious. The Lady who served Our Table was Very Kind and Accommodating. I couldn't Ask for a Better Dining Experience.“

“A huge thank you to the manager and her staff (I have their names written on our receipt in my paperwork somewhere) on duty provided my husband Eric and I with great care. Our food was hot and very delicious. I had a giant fried whitefish sandwich and hush puppies. My husband who always offers some his meal to me, thoroughly enjoyed his meal too. He didn’t much care for the red velvet cheesecake though. We look forward to visiting next time we’re in Alexandria, LA.
