“The best restaurant in Plaquemine hands down. I was working in Plaquemine for a year i happened to run across this hidden gem. As a female travel alone I felt safe going in there by myself. It's a great atmosphere. The bartenders are awesome. The local are super friendly. The owner a great guy and wonderful cook. Must try out steak night. It does have a touch tones jukebox so you can pick out your own music while your eating or drinking. If your in Plaquemine go check it out.“

“If you’re looking for a cozy spot with great drinks and a vintage vibe, this bar is a must-visit. The Chimney Sweep and Lion’s Tail cocktails are standouts, and the bartender was friendly and efficient, getting our drinks to us in no time. The atmosphere is a throwback to the 1930s, with old-school decor and soft lighting that creates the perfect ambiance for a relaxed evening out.
Prices are on the higher side, with regular cocktails priced around $15 each, and reserve cocktails running at $30. For two drinks, expect to spend at least $50, but the quality of the drinks and the overall experience make it worth the splurge.“

“absolutely love hanging out here! the bartenders are awesome, the drinks are always on point and the food is great too! they have a dj every friday so that’s always fun! this place also has great management which is always a plus. definitely recommend if you’re looking for a fun, chill places with great vibes!“

“Went there on the Wednesday burger night. Burgers were fantastic, and only a couple of dollars. Drink special as well, but I had a gin and tonic. Bartenders were great. Has to be the biggest secret in Baton Rouge. If it wasn't, there would be a line down the street.“

Out side of their long menu of different flavors and choices, the staff will help you with a drink of your own! My favorite drink at this location HAS TO BE the Victoria’s Secret. Think of a strawberry pina colada. It’s littt, with Three Ts. If you see me there ordering 4 to go, mind ya business, but say what’s up.“
“Damn, what a spot. For game day there is no better place than right here at Fred's. What a great time. The bartender Mathew took awesome care of us and he ran the bar like a boss. How can it get any better when the big man himself is on the grill cooking all the steaks and his wife is keeping it straight on when you get your food. Great times and look forward to going back every time on game day.“

“Definitely my favorite bar in Tigerland. If you go, you absolutely have to try the pizza. It is the perfect combination of sauce, cheese and grease. Has some of the best looking workers I’ve seen in all my years. The new renovation is beautiful, especially the ladies restroom.“

“My husband and I came down from Illinois to visit relatives and I wanted a daiquiri badly. Saw several reviews about a lady working or worked here that was rude. I wasn't going to stop here but I took a chance. Sage was very nice! He spoke, he was polite and friendly. So glad the customer service is better. Drinks are good, too. It wasn't busy or crowded. I'd definitely recommend!“
