I always ate their fried shrimp. We always recommend Cou-Yon's to family & friends..Their food is the best & the workers are polite ..”

“The negative: Parking lot was small; had a difficult time getting my truck out after someone parked near me while I was dining. Was also there 5 to 10 minutes before I had the waitress’s attention. The positive: Food was absolutely outstanding. Roux was perfect. Remoulade was close to world class; I’ve had it in 5 star restaurants in Vegas that wasn’t this good. Kind of food you travel a bit to get to. I’ll put up with the negatives if that’s indicative of the rest of their menu.”

“If I could give this place 6 stars, I would. I don’t normally write such a lengthy review, but I had one of the best (of quite a few) experiences there just yesterday, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the kindness Swamp Shack delivers on. One, I’m so picky about daiquiris- especially the alcohol used in them - and this place is genuinely my favorite. Their margarita daiquiri is phenomenal (but especially when combined with jalapeño and watermelon, salt rim. Try it - seriously.) Two, if their daiquiris weren’t delicious enough, they CONSISTENTLY have some of the best customer service I’ve ever received - in general. It’s drive-thru only unfortunately, but if I’m having a bad day, I still feel better just passing through there as quickly as I do. (Owners, I’m sure you know, but yall are so lucky to have Jordin. She’s seriously amazing. For real though - she deserves Something! Lol) And three, with all that you’d think they’d be expensive, but their prices are beyond competitive - even when adding a different flavor to the daiquiri. Even if you have to drive, make this your new go-to. You won’t regret it! 🥰”

Charging 18.99 plus 2.00 for each topping is absolutely insane.”

“This reminded me and my Aunt and I pulling up in her El Camino back in the early 80's to some of the best burgers ever. You can dine in or order at outside window and wait just a short amount. Bf and I got the Ida Burger Meal and that was 20 oz of burger goodness! Fries were perfect and only catch-up was they had no ice the machine was broke which actually meant we got more fluid.. wasnt an issue. One of the best burgers I have had in a long minute! And the combo was only $10.50. that's like steal! And really good food. Sat outside and enjoyed the breeze thru the way and went back 2 days later for more! It's a must try! Ohhhh so wonderful!!”

“1. Dont judge a book by its cover... 2. So good I had to visit twice... We stopped by on our way to Flroida from Texas, and we arrived right when they opened. Unfortunately, a by-product of that was the cracklins weren't quite ready yet, so we got the regular boudin balls and the jalapeno cream cheese boudin balls... I was so blown away at the 100% pure awesomeness of this food that 1. I made it about three miles down the road, turned around, and went back for more and 2. I arranged our whole trip back home to Texas so I could arrive later in the day to hopefully try some of their cracklins, and boy, oh boy, i wasn't disappointed.... They were crispy, full of Cajun flavor and nice and warm. The Boudin balls were perfectly crispy on the outside and bursting with flavor on the inside... I paried it with a can of Dr Pepper and was in hog heaven... Dont sleep on this place. I have heard from many Louisiana natives that some of the best foods in the whole state are little shacks on the side of the road.... They were definitely not lying”

“I've heard people speak on other Nutrition shops but I myself prefer Nutrition West. When I tell you the atmosphere is phenomenal. The customer service is A-1. When I order through their app and pull up in the parking lot I am guaranteed that they know it's my vehicle and my tea is ready and being reached to me as I'm walking in the door. I am always greeted by the fabulous staff and awesome customers. I've meet some of the amazing people here and I tell you want they're the same each time they see me. It's a vibe....”

“Went there for the first time Saturday night. We had a good time. If you drink beer or a daiquiri you’re in good shape. I ask for a gin and tonic, no tonic. They had soda water, so I tried it, ok. Otherwise had a fun time listening to reflections and dancing.”

“The ladies here are absolutely amazing they are very friendly and treat you like they knew you forever. My go to store in port allen. These ladies need raises! For going above and beyond!”

“You know when you come between lunch and dinner most buffets are not well kept. This one is not normal, everything is fresh.
Their recipes are a little different, which means they must make some of their sauces.
However, the one thing they do better than any buffet in a long time is the hot and sour soup... My favorite, and this one is probably the best tasting for 3 states.”

I ordered a cookie cake and when I picked it up, I noticed the colors on Happy Birthday were wrong but I took it because I didn’t want to be a pain… however after leaving at looking at it again and again, I just didn’t like it. I went back 10 minutes later and talked to the employee and they were so nice! It wasn’t a big deal, mistakes happen, I just wanted it fixed. They offered a solution and were totally professional. No one was mean, no one was mad, and everyone was friendly. I left completely happy and everyone LOVED the cake, it tasted great! Will definitely be returning.”
