“My husband and I went last night for an early Valentines dinner. We loved the small, yet quaint dining room, the atmosphere was perfect, the playlist for the background music was on point, Zack was our waiter and he was top notch. The food was AMAZING!! It is my new favorite date night restaurant. The new owners are very friendly and they are hands on. 10/10“

“Review for Bistro Italia – A Must-Visit! Just had an incredible reunion with some of the old Louis D’Angelo’s crew, and where else could we have possibly gathered but the new local gem Bistro Italia in Baton Rouge? Let me tell you—this place didn’t just live up to the legacy… it grabbed the torch and sprinted with it. The food? Absolutely delicious. You can taste the love and authenticity in every bite—just like the good old days, but somehow even better. The service? Top-notch. Friendly, fast, and made us feel like we were family (or maybe just regulars they actually like—kidding, kind of). Big kudos to the team at Bistro Italia for creating a warm, welcoming spot with flavor and charm. If you’re in Baton Rouge and craving Italian done right—go. Go now. Order everything. “Had a great experience here today. The soup, salad, and breadsticks lunch was superb. The Zupps Tusacana soup was perfect, the salad was plentiful and well dressed, and the breadsticks were warm and fresh. Richard was an excellent waiter. He was attentive, highly responsive, and completely on the ball. I would recommend going here for lunch anytime!“

“We went in for the first time and it did not disappoint! Liliana was amazing and Bento was our server- also amazing! Everything was exceptional, from the moment we walked in till we walked out. Sat on the patio and enjoyed the live music while we ate. Food was so good! We will definitely be back!“

“A favorite dish: The Krewe Calzone. It's cooked to perfection; I haven't had one yet that was burned on the bottom like most other open oven pizzerias, so I'm always impressed with their food. They run specials, so be sure to ask. Caution: their calzone special is $8, not 1/2 off as twice I'd been told by 2 different waiters on 2 different occasions, so when you get your bill, don't be surprised, as bringing this up to the checkout person/manager(?) will get you nowhere. Other than that, and the reason for the 4 stars and not 5, it was a great dining out experience. I'd recommend for excellent ambiance, value, taste, family friendly convenient location. Accessibility: handicapped parking at front entrance with wheelchair access, small curb for mobility impaired
