Every time I visit my in-laws I always stop in at Duckroost. They have any kind of seafood you want as well as boudin and cracklins. The cracklins are a must have! If you want good seafood or other cajun fare you must try Duckroost at least once, or all the time like myself!😁
Great bunch of people that work there . I call and ask for a 100 lb of crawfish for a week in party . The had them made on time and I will tell you they was the best crawfish I ate in a very long time . You want some seafood you need to get to Duckroost they are awesome
At first look, you would think it's just a convenience store with gas pumps. It's actually a store with gas pumps and great seafood. Small interior dining room, cooler full of cold beverages, both adult and kid friendly varieties. They have a cooler of frozen seafood products you can purchase for later use or a hot line for items on the go. The hot line has meat pies, boudin, and a host of other goodies.
