**review update. Changing atmosphere from 5 to 4-- last few times I have been, they served food on styrofoam. I do not like eating on styrofoam. Please use regular plates. At least they gave me real utensils. ** Wonderful locally owned, home-cooking cafe, and open on Mondays when some places are closed. Weekly specials. Love the meatloaf, but the mashed potatoes taste like instant, bleh but edible. Breakfast all day is great. Staff are so nice and welcoming. I've been about 3 or 4 times. Just wish mashed potatoes were from scratch.

Hometown place on Sunday morning. Seat yourself and waited quite a while for service. Ordered the Mac&Cheeseburger. It was huge and looked delicious. The patties were cheap and grisly like the cheapest from Sam's or Sysco. Crab and corn bisque was OK. The alligator sausage was very good.

We stopped here for a coffee en route to NOLA, lovely little cafe serving breakfast and we think lunch, ideal stop if you're on the 'blues trail'!

It’s like going out to your Maw Maw’s house out in the country…and you wake up in the morning and smell the bacon she has frying up on the stove. I love it.

Great home cooked breakfast at a fantastic price. Had the biscuit sandwich and breakfast platter. Friendly service and interesting things for sale.

Everything was so so good and everone was so nice. Came from out of town and was a great end to the trip.

Hashbrowns tasted like they were cooked a few hours ago, refrigerated, and then microwaved. And specifying “extra crispy” means nothing. $3 for grits is ridiculous anywhere south of Kentucky.

Easy access and free parking, the dishes are hearty and tasty, that being said, if you are French like me (and I have a good fork) do not take aperitize + flat, it is very hearty (the aligator sausages in photo are the size of mortar sausages. Nice staff as always.

Walked into a cute homey restaurant that feels like a locals hang out. The gentleman welcomed us in and had us choose our table. Never having been here before we asked for suggestions, and he offered a few of his favorites. One of his suggestions was the grilled chicken Caesar wrap, and I'm glad I decided on that. It was delicious. The chicken was juicy and tender, not everyone can do that. My hubby decided on a cheese burger. He ate it in 3 big bites so I think he liked it. He had his choice of cheeses, and each plate came with a choice of side. We chose potato salad and cole slaw but couldn't finish them. I hated to leave them. Our bill with 2 iced teas came to $35. The restaurant was a random choice, and I'm glad we found it. One thing to note Sunday is limited hours, you may want to check their times.

Drove over an hour this morning to come try this place and they weren't even open. Hours are not correct at all as listed. No telling what else they will screw up here

Went here during lunch, just after 11. On Google maps, it is notated as a breakfast restaurant. But noticed on the menu they stop serving breakfast at 11 or until they run out.
So, I was real disappointed and ended up ordering a cheeseburger. I read reviews that pricing was reasonable, but it was $13 for a burger with small bag of chips, which for me is expensive.

But, WOW!!! The burger was great, especially the bread. WOW, WOW, WOW! I am so happy I stopped!

Worst breakfast ever. Grits had weird taste. Scrambled eggs weren’t scrambled looked more like a fried egg that they tried to turn into scrambled. Biscuits were the best.
