While traveling through the area stopped ate. I had bbq pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries. Wife had fried catfish with waffle fries. Both were great. Large portions. Girls at counter were very friendly and patient while we tried to decide what to get. Good variety. They also have various meats and pizzas to go. Will definitely stop again.

Food is usually great but sometimes when I get the pulled pork sandwich it's all end meat which is tough and fatty. The fries could be crispier.

First time trying brisket, I have to say I was heavily disappointed. Didn't think it was supposed to be dry. Then paying extra for some box mac and cheese? Outrageous. Despite the dry brisket, it was still somewhat edible with the smokey flavor.

Either don't make the customer pay extra for your boxed white cheddar mac and cheese shells, or you as the customer don't buy it.

I almost forgot the cleanliness of the restaurant. Right in front of the freezers were multiple twitching cockroaches. Right next to one of the waiting benches. Absolutely filthy floors.

While on the road, one of the best meals of our time in Louisiana. Definitely worth a detour for the succulent bbq meats! Great service..

It was very busy. We were picking up our order to go. My ribs were overdone, an I didn't get the corn pudding or the coleslaw from 2 separate orders for the rib dinner. The pulled pork sandwich was delicious and the brisket platter was good too

If you're looking for Texas Monthly Top 50 quality barbecue, this is not the place to go. I ordered the brisket and ribs with potato salad and baked beans. The sides were decent, but the barbecue left a lot to be desired. The brisket was not cooked correctly, so it crumbled more pulled apart, and had no flavor. It didn't even have quality bark. Sauce was required to eat it, which is a no-no in Texas. I am from Texas, and quality barbecue doesn't require sauce. The ribs were not tender and definitely were not fall-off-the-bone, and, like the brisket, didn't have a lot of flavor either. In case you're wondering, my go-to back home is a Texas Monthly Top 50 craft barbecue place for two times running, and they placed 3rd out of 250 teams at the Houston Livestock Show & Rodeo barbecue competition in 2026, so, ya, I kind of know what's supposed to be good barbecue.
