I would definitely NOT recommend and will NEVER return. Taylor provided some of the worst service ever! We were seated prob 20 min before he even showed up to greet us. Took another 20 to just get menus and drinks. We were there another hour for food and and another 45 min waiting for birthday cake and the check. It was about 2.5 hours we can’t get back. My husband took me out last evening for a nice dinner. It turned out to be awful food.
Snapper overcooked and tasted old, shrimp topping was pungent and augrautin was like frozen food and not hot.
My friends and I had a lovely night with dinner and cocktails. Betty Lewis was the entertainment and she was wonderful! The happy hour food menu was very affordable with excellent choices and very tasty. As always the ambiance was inviting and cozy.

Ernest's Orleans Restaurant & Cocktail Lounge offers a New York Steakhouse-inspired atmosphere with excellent service. The menu features a standout Filet Mignon, described as the best steak ever had, paired with a baked potato topped with homemade sour cream. The bread pudding is also a highlight. The food is consistently praised for being top notch and delicious, with dishes like the fish and crawfish stuffed baked potato receiving special mention. The service is highly regarded as some of the best in Shreveport/Bossier, with staff making every guest feel cared for and ensuring a great experience. The restaurant often has live music, such as a pianist playing 70's and 80's hits, creating a lively atmosphere. Ernest's is known as a dependable staple in the area, with a warm and friendly environment. A small note is that the bar area can be a little dark, but it doesn't detract from the overall experience. Highly recommended for both food and service, with a special touch from owner and staff. A 3.5% credit card fee applies.
