Ferrier's Rollin' In the Dough

We have been wanting to eat at your establishment and yesterday we checked to make sure it was open on Sunday and it showed that it was. We live on the outskirts of Shreveport and we drove all that distance to come here to find out it’s closed. You need to check the postings that you have because the time on some of them are not right. I don’t know if we’ll ever come back again, but I just wanted you to know that you have this all messed up

Been going here for decades. Today I picked up my meal to go, got to the office & realized my sandwich was on a store bought bun. I called & was told this would be the new buns from now on. I do not pay $16 for a sandwich on a Walmart bun. Honestly, every person I know (including those who travel here to eat) will not be returning. Can't support the locals when they change this much. I stuck around through the awful French fry change but I won't be back over the bun change. I thought the buns were the reason for the 'rollin in the dough' name🤔

The best burger in Shreveport! From the homeade bun to the big beef patty and the fresh toppings, you cant find better in the SBC area! Even the fries are top notch. The restaurant was very clean, the staff was very nice and made sure we were taken care of. I also love how they have glass separating the kitchen from the dining area so you can watch them cook and prep food. For the quality of food, the prices are very reasonable.

Great local restaurant! We stopped in on our way to TX. The food was delicious-the homemade buns were fresh and tasty. The owner and his staff were very welcoming. Be sure to check this place out if you’re in the area.

I came here with my dad. It was this or Qdoba. I am SO glad we chose Ferrier’s! My dad is EXTREMELY critical when it comes to food, & he had “zero complaints” about this place. He had the fiesta chicken salad which was “huge”, but he was determined to finish it. I had the grilled chicken sandwich from the burger menu which was very tasty. The chicken was far from dry, & they placed the lettuce & other burger dressings on the side so you can add it on the burger the way you prefer.

ALL of the staff were friendly, both at the register and the servers. Parking is (understandably ) difficult during peak hours, but if you come before 10:30 or after 12:30 there’s plenty of parking.

I’m visiting from Texas, & my dad is visiting from California, but we come to Shreveport/Bossier often to visit family. We will DEFINITELY be returning to Ferrier’s on future visits.

Was once a bakery and the hamburger buns reflect that. Prices are high for what is essentially a cafe or grill. The hamburger can easily be split and comes dry, with lettuce, tomato, pickles, lettuce, a smattering of onion, and fries. But, at $13, plus around 2.70 for choice soda or tea to drink, would bring the total, w/o tip, to more than $30 for 2. As the plain burger is one of the lowest cost options (even cheaper than the salads) , this is an expensive lunch grill, in our view.

I went there late one evening ,the venue seemed dark and little vacant , a few locals there. The staff was busy and seemed pre occupied when my party came in. We stood there a few minutes waiting for instructions on whether to seat ourselves or be seated. Overall the food was very tasty, and prepared as ordered. Will return next time I want a good hamburger .

This is the spot for a delicious cheese burger. A great neighborhood gem which has been around for years. Don't skip out on the catfish...it's all delicious!
