I will never love another Italian restaurant the way I love Monjunis. The staff go above and beyond all expectations and patience. Absolutely phenomenal food. I order the chicken Parmesan every time and I eat half while it’s hot and half late at night after losing at the casino!!! Monjunis is the highlight of every trip I take to Louisiana and it’s all because of the amazing people that work there!
Such a lovely spot so cute and feels old school in the best way. Came for the muffuletta stayed for the lasagna. The muf is huge and fantastic. One of those perfect sandwiches. The vibe here is fantastic
This was a SeReNdiPiToUs find on this screwed up day! We were waaay too early to the airport. Went to get the tacos I'd been looking forward to....closed! so we said we'd go next door.....closed! Then we went down a ways from there.... closed!!..for maintenance!!!! So we chose Monjuni's on Louisiana Avenue for the ambiance. Turns out it is the OriGiNaL.
ONLY disappointment was how cold it was and the waiter said they weren't allowed to touch the thermostat....
