This was my first time dining here. I had the Mixed Platter, it was delicious. The brisket was so tender, and the ribs were delish but had almost no meat on them. The green beans were definitely a hit. I always go to the other barbecue place close by and I was just wanting to try something new. I will definitely take my son in there to have some brisket.
we have enjoyed dining in for years. The smoked meats are excellent although they do not have ham. Sides are good too, except for the coated fries. I go for the light plate now which comes with two ribs and several meat choices (there is a $2 upcharge for brisket for some reason). One bit of advice, bring a jacket because the temperature is always freezing since the old Dickeys era...
