During a recent visit to The Library on Fern in Shreveport, I had the misfortune of experiencing a rather uninspired meal. My midday selection consisted of a bowl of tomato soup, a grilled cheese sandwich, a crème brûlée for dessert, and an iced tea. Regrettably, sandwich and soup arrived lukewarm, devoid of the comforting warmth one would expect from such classic comfort foods.

My first time eating at The Library on Fern, and I was not disappointed. The food was fantastic. The service was wonderful. Cole is the best! I highly recommend the Grilled Peach Salad, and save room for dessert because the Dark Chocolate Brownie is amazing. Will definitely be eating there again and cannot wait!

I could not have asked for a better experience for one of my best friends birthdays! Cocktails are worth every penny!! The deviled eggs were to die for and best shrimp and grits in town! Oh and did I mention the turtle cheesecake, I will get it every time I come!!
