I have to say, me, my husband, and our two friends are new to Louisiana. Me and my husband are originally from Cali and they from Texas, we heard about Italian ice truck from our apartment complex so we decided to go and check it out. I’ve got to say, hands down one of the most fresh, flavorful, and refreshing Italian ice I’ve ever had! Diggy was so sweet and even took some time to talk to us! Later on that afternoon we decided to go to his store for lunch to see what he was talking about and man he was right. The food 10/10! We even got to see the full menu with lots of options of Italian ice, hot dogs, nachos, ice cream , lemonade (which is so so so good!) and snowballs! I love how it’s a black owned business and how nice they are. The store is overall clean and the workers are so sweet. I also loved how the owner himself is so included in his shop and comes in and helps the other workers unlike most businesses. We over all give it a 100000000/10 and 100% recommend any one who lives or is visiting Slidell to come check them out!

Best snowball ive ever had. Before this place i would go to snowball stands for the softserve ice cream. Either the ice was too hard or the syrup was too sweet. This place ice has no crunch and the syrup is the right amount of sweet. Now lets talk about the service. They're so welcoming. I felt like i knew these people for yrs after my 1st visit. Theyre stuck with me for life.

The food here is really good. I had the pulled pork specialty dog and I was very impressed. The amount of food for the price is awesome. And the staff is super friendly. Its a laid back and comfortable atmosphere. I will come back.

It's a very nice place. The wait can be very long. There are only a few people working so it takes them time to get all the orders prepared. They do work as hard and as fast as the can. The staff is all very friendly. It's a wonderful place to take the family!
Snowball was so good and over flowing out of the cup. I had nachos also and they were good. If you in the area stop by for a nice treat.

Stopped by today when the place we usually go to was closed. We had never been, but this will definitely be the new regular place! They had the softest ice, insane amount of flavors, and honestly they just tasted better. I also liked that it was inside and out of the heat. The prices were the same as their competitors but the quality and taste were better. Plus they were the ONLY shop open earlier in the day. Highly recommended!
