We recently dined at **Middendorf's Restaurant** in Slidel la, and the experience was excellent from start to finish. They graciously accommodated our large family without hesitation, which immediately set the tone for a relaxed and enjoyable meal. Love the atmosphere. The food was Meh 😑. Stuffed mushrooms and Boudin Balls were great. Stuffed broiled flounder, over cooked. And struck out on the cheeseburger too. Wait staff were real friendly and helpful. Except... the dining room was nearly empty and they filled the tables up next to each other with the rest of the dining room empty.
Good, large servings of thin-fried catfish and fries cooked to perfection. However, both could have used a little more seasoning. When I asked, server provided horseradish so I could kick the cocktail sauce up a notch. This relatively new site is large with indoor & oudoor dining and plenty of parking. I recommend this restaurant for groups of all sizes!
