In all honesty, I normally do not post reviews but I feel it's important this time. My husband and I recently went to eat lunch at Phil's. The meal was fine and uneventful. Waitress brought our bill and I gave my debit card to pay. I had accidentally given her the wrong card for a different account but when she brought my ticket and card back, laid it on the table and walked away saying nothing. There was no signature line on the ticket so I was confused but I picked up my card, my husband put a $20 tip on the table and we left. Hours later, we received a call from a friend saying they saw our pictures on the Facebook saying we had walked out on our bill. The post was on the manager's personal FB page, shared multiple pictures of me and my husband, pictures of my vehicle and tag number. It had already been shared over 40 times. Not only was this a false accusation but a breach of privacy. If the manager had actually been intelligent and truly bothered to review the footage then she would have seen the tip we left on a less than $50 dollar check. Why would we leave that size tip and just walk out on the bill. We did call, paid the bill with the right account. She did make a secondary post with the information, but the damage was done. Horrible experience and ignorant customer service. We have not been back and or our family has either and we were regular customers.

Went here today and bought two oyster sandwiches on bun. They put 6 oysters on the bun and they were so small that they didn't even fit the bread! The sandwiches were just flavorless. We couldn't tell what we were eating. It's very disappointing because I visit here quite often by myself and with my family. Don't know if we will be returning.

Atmosphere was nice. Food was…lacking…to say the least. I had a shrimp po boy w/cheese greets and my daughter had the fried crawfish and fries. Both were fried perfectly golden, but neither tasted like they had any seasoning at all. The grits also required a healthy serving of salt and pepper to bring them alive(I am generally not a salt user). We had bread pudding for dessert, and it unfortunately tasted very…store-bought 😕. The server/bartender was nice, but didn’t include any plasticware. With our to-go order

Had the Mahi tacos. Not great. Mahi was seriously over cooked and dry and overly salty. When I told the server, they acted confused and not sure what to do with my feedback. Had the bread pudding and it was good. Service was average. Not sure I would go back.

Go here, if you love onions. I ordered the crab cake. I took a few bites then the taste hit me. There were more crunchy onions than crab meat. I spit two bites into a napkin and left the rest of the onions on a plate. The view is great. The waitress was sweet. I was informed they would not replace my crab cake or take it off my bill and if I didn't like the dish, then I know not to order it next time. I wanted so bad to like this place. We paid, tipped, and left. I will not be back.

First time dining here was amazing! The salad with the Creole vinaigrette was a good start. Then the Snapper Pontchartrain was perhaps the best grilled fish I have had. Finished with a wonderful Reese's peanut butter pie. Service by Zaya ( not sure if the spelling....sorry) was friendly and attentive.

Our waitress was great and we didn’t have a long wait for our food. Everything was pretty good and it was a laid back restaurant. We really liked the lake view.

Royal reds were ok. Gouda grits were good. We ordered the 1/2 pound boiled shrimp special from their sign. The shrimp were Ice cold we assumed boiled would mean hot. Obviously not & they weren’t good Nor would I have ordered them IF I knew they would be cold.
