My mom has been wanting to try this place for months- took her tonight for her birthday- we had raw oysters, charbroiled oysters, charbroiled crabs, and crab spinach dip- WOW- SO GOOD- yum yum yum- everything was really good BUT- after tasting everything- we all wished we would have invested in nothing but the charbroiled crabs 🤤😋- they were incredible- can’t wait to go back. Also- they close at 9pm - which seems early for Friday- but we did come close to closing time...read full review

The Blue Crab Bar & Grill in Slidell is a hidden gem with a great view of boats. The food is really good, with well prepared options like the club sandwich, onion rings, wedge salad with crabmeat, chargrilled crabs, shrimp platter, and the angus BURGER. The Happy Hour for Oysters are the best, with the best oysters in Slidell and a price you can't beat. Service is amazing, with polite and professional staff. The atmosphere is great for a date night, chill night, or family night, with live music and ducks waddling by. The outdoor spot is perfect, and the food comes out really fast. It is a must stop.
