Not good at all. Basket of shrimp was mostly fries with a sprinkle of bait shrimp paste.

Based on the reviews, The Blue Crab Restaurant & Oyster Bar is a hidden gem with a great atmosphere. The Happy Hour for Oysters are the best, with the best oysters in Slidell at a price you can't beat. The food is really good, including the wedge salad with crabmeat, chargrilled crabs, shrimp platter, and the angus BURGER. The service is amazing and impeccable, with food coming out really fast. The outdoor spot is perfect, with great live music, ducks waddling by, and scenery of the bayou and Lake Pontchartrain. It is a perfect spot for date night, chill night, or family night with plenty of parking.
