Atmosphere was nice. Food was…lacking…to say the least. I had a shrimp po boy w/cheese greets and my daughter had the fried crawfish and fries. Both were fried perfectly golden, but neither tasted like they had any seasoning at all. The grits also required a healthy serving of salt and pepper to bring them alive(I am generally not a salt user). We had bread pudding for dessert, and it unfortunately tasted very…store-bought 😕. Had the Mahi tacos. Not great. Mahi was seriously over cooked and dry and overly salty. When I told the server, they acted confused and not sure what to do with my feedback. Had the bread pudding and it was good. Service was average. Not sure I would go back.
We had about 20 people and they did separate checks for us.I could not even believe it.The waitresses there were fabulous. The food was good.
