Was with a party of 8. We had about 8 rolls and all 8, despite being labeled different, looked remarkable similar. 7of the rolls were smothered way too much with spicy mayo and tempura crispy topping. Made all the rolls taste the same. Meh. 4 stars for being brave enough to remain open for dine in during Covid.
They are more worried about to go orders than helping the people sitting there in front of them.
Good food, prices and service. And also only a 10 minute drive from home.

Don’t forget about this spot! Slidell has a handful of sushi joints, and this might be the original. Definitely a hole in the wall, and never super crowded, and the sushi is always perfectly done. It’s consistently excellent.

Best sushi in Slidell. This is a perfect little family run place that always has fresh and delicious fish. The dinners are great as well and I especially love the yaki soba. This is one my usual places to eat and I've never been disappointed.
