I use to love Sonic. The sonic on pontchartrain, Slidell - should just close. The food is never good and the last two times I’ve gone were for ice cream. Who gets ice cream wrong? A few months ago, I get two sonic blast they place the Reese’s at the bottom. It was never blended. I go get two hot fudge sundays, they give me ice cream with no fudge. They just barley placed it in the cup. I’m always disappointed and will never be back. There are hardly in cars in the parking lot and the service is just as bad. This sonic just needs to be closed down!

They seem to be out of so many items. The wait time is ridiculous! Can’t even bring out the right size straws for the drinks either. There are so many complaints on here and yet nothings been done about.

Placed an order through the Sonic app, and after waiting 20 minutes, we finally pressed the red button to ask about our order. Only then did we find out they didn’t have any Fritos for the Frito Pie I ordered. Instead of letting us know right away, they had us waiting...just to tell us they were going to substitute it with a large chili cheese tots.
First of all, I don’t even like chili cheese tots, and no one asked before assuming that was okay. I ended up with chili cheese fries instead, but they still upsized the other chili cheese tots in my order. Either way, both the fries and tots tasted like old grease, and the chili had no flavor...just more grease.
I usually avoid Sonic in Slidell because most of the locations here are disappointing, but I decided to give them another try today. Now I remember why I stay away. Unless you want to overpay for greasy, tasteless food and questionable customer service, I wouldn’t recommend it.

i worked in food all throughout being a teenager lol but everytime i come here there’s like 3 cars and ur waiting for like 20 mins. i ordered just a medium mozzarella stick the other day and waited almost 25 minutes so i just drove off😭😭i could see if they were busy, but they are always so dead so i don’t understand the issue

I’ve been to this location many times, Everyone always seems so down and seems as if they dread their job but today was my first time i’ve ever had amazing customer service, she was super sweet seemed very happy even tho it’s later in the night, I think her was emani or something very similar.

I have tried over and over again to give this Sonic a chance, even against my husbands distain for them. Tonight was the last night I will be going to this location! I placed a mobile order for two sonic blast. When I arrived at the stall I waited for 15 minutes before a worker walks out with my order and wishes me a goodnight. Upon further investigation my ice cream was melted and warm. They literally gave me a cup of milk with Do not go here! Do not give them the benefit of the doubt. It’s a bunch of incompetent teenagers running it

We continue to try over and over again to give this Sonic a chance but today was the last time. I'm pregnant and I continue to crave grilled cheeses and cheesesticks. Every single time for the past 6 times we've went, other than once, the grilled cheese was either burnt, they used the end butt part of the bread or it was so cold by the time we got it that it just sucked. Today, we spent $35 there. Their new manager Gabrielle, whom I spoke to a week ago when we had bad food, said to come when she was there and she would make it right. She's there right now and yet again our order was horrible. My grilled cheese was so cold and yet again made with the end of the loaf of bread. Who wants to eat the end pieces?! We ordered cheese sticks and they didn't tell my husband until they brought the food that they didn't have marinara sauce for them. He wouldn't have got them if he knew that upfront. She said I put extra ranch in there for you. Who wants ranch with their cheese sticks?! The fries are the saltiest fries I've ever had in my life. They were completely inedible and we ended up throwing them out. I love salty food and fries but these were disgusting. I'm so pissed off. I wrote Gabrielle on fb to let her know and to find out that she was actually there right now and the food still came out this bad just means this place is a lost cause. Do not waste your time and money here. They need to close and at this rate they will because it is horrible 5 out of 6 times you go. I barely eat fast food. For whatever reason this pregnancy has me craving grilled cheese and cheese sticks but I will have to just deal because I refuse to go back there and give them anymore money. She told me to bring the food back up there to be able to do anything about it. My husband was already home and we had to figure something else out for my 4 year old to eat and wasn't coming back up there.
