I Bought The Strawberry & Cream Cheese Filled King Cake, King Cake On The Stick Plus The King Cake Bread Pudding. It Was Amazing A Very Unique Taste With Almond Flavor. My new bakery! A BIG THANK YOU TO MS. SHANNON AND TEAM. I ordered a king cake for my daughter on 2/26 to be shipped out of state and it was delivered on 3/1.. my daughter and her friends loved it.. DEFINITELY WILL BE ORDERING AGAIN!!

Bought a traditional king cake today. Specifically asked the clerk if it was made today. She said yes. Brought it home to my family as our first king cake of the season. Very disappointed to report that it tasted stale with hardly any flavor. Felt like they were using the icing to give it flavor but the bread itself was stale without much cinnamon swirling throughout. Such a bummer to have paid $27. My kids only ate half their slice. Will need to toss it.

Bought a chantilly king cake last year for the special education teachers at my kids school. Walked out into the parking lot and there were boxes on the ground in front the store which I tripped over. Held firmly onto the cake and the whole top came off and the king cake slid out onto the ground. The lid wasn't secured at all. Went inside to tell them what happened and all they said was "Oooh no, that's too bad. Would you like to buy another one?" I just looked at her like she was crazy. If I hadn't tripped over y'all's boxes and had the lid been secured I wouldn't have to buy another one. I drove all the way to Metairie to get another one because I honestly could not believe they would not replace the very expensive one I had already paid for. They went outside and picked up the boxes though of course. I would never bring these people my business again. Sad.
I see the owner has responded saying she wish she had known so she could have replaced it. Thats a lie, I spoke directly to you about the incident just 3 days later and after asking me whether or not i had a receipt for the purchase, which i didnt because it wsd thrown in the trash with the king cake, you told me sorry thay without the receipt there was nothing you could do for me even though you could have spoken to your staff, checked the cameras, you could have easily confirmed mu purchase and watched it on camera. Now I work in Slidell as a wedding organizer and director and even though I use to recommend your bakery to my clients, I make sure to recommend that they avoid you and why. It may be a year layer but that doesnt mean you cant help, you just dont want to. I made sure to tell the my childs school as well how your business failed entirely to fix their mistake even after informing your employee it was for their special education department. And theyve mad sure to inform others of your companies actions as well. Its sad that this is your attempt to avoid making things right and ill be sure to post the audio recording of conversation we had last year in our local Slidell pages. I had the utmost respect for you as im sure you dont remember me but you have delivered wedding cakes for my clients, whom I recommended to you, several times in the past. You had and have no intentions of making things right becsuse hou already got my money and apparently, thats all that matters.

Your lucky i have to give a 1 just to leave comment. Came from 2 hours away, for a king cake that my daughter requests every year for her birthday. She called and ordered it 3 weeks in advance, and was very In detail with the girl on the phone about what she wanted. We came to pick it up on the 1st of February, only to find the next day when we cut into it that there was no feeling at all.
I visited today to get a King Cake for Northshore Roller Derby Fundraiser and Sugar Love did not disappoint. We are so grateful to be given this opportunity from a Local business for our nonprofit local roller derby team.
I bought the cream cheese filled King Cake and it did not disappoint!!! Recommended for the Mardi Gras King Cake lovers đđđ

We stopped in on Monday before the big snow to pickup a kingcake that my 13 year old had been begging for.... he even used his own money to buy it. We were all very disappointed in the taste.... it tasted like it was a day or two old and kinda stale, like to the point where ya had to put it in the microwave to soften it up. I was going to call them but opted to just fill out the contact us form on the website instead cause I knew they were busy that day. I figured someone from the store would contact me once they saw my complaint. Well..... its Friday and no one from Sugar love has reached out.

I called on a Tuesday and spoke with an individual in depth for about 30 minutes about what I wanted for my daughterâs PokĂ©mon/pikachu cake. The person even asked if I wanted to give freelance liberty to the baker. I said oh yeah, I saw a turtle cake yall did and thatâs why I called. So you would expect something.
I even asked if they could send me examples and she said yes theyâve done other PokĂ©mon cakes. I was told I would be contacted tomorrow, Wednesday to go over it more and pay.
We had bad weather Wednesday and no one contacted me. Gave grace assuming they were probably busy. Thursday came and went, I finally called back and had to give someone new my information. Then she said she found the other personâs note. Which apparently only said pikachu on top and an edible poke ball.
Yall I paid $70 for this(picture of what was tossed to follow.
It was embarrassing, I cried the whole way home. When I went to pick it up, albeit 30 minutes early I had to wait for them to âput the finishing touches on it.â I did call on my way home and the manager couldnât even muster up whatever they needed to, to come speak to me. I remained calm and asked did what I pay cover the âdesignâ or was it just the cost of the cake? Couldnât get an answer. Was told if I wanted the manager to contact me Monday she can.
The cake itself was so dense, dry and you could smell the almond extract before you even cut into the cake. No one finished, embarrassed all over again when another mom recommended a different baker or even her friend who charged a little bit more but the cake was amazing. So itâs not so much about the money, I would have paid to have the cake I wanted. I got trash.
