“We met an old friend there who hadn't eaten at a Waffle House in almost 30 years! We eat at Waffle House pretty often, but we've never been to this location. Christine and Chelsey were our servers: both are friendly and professional. Our meals were cooked perfectly and just what we needed for the long drive ahead. Definitely recommending this location.“
“We had a great Easter Brunch with our family after church. The service was exceptional and all of the food was fantastic as usual. Our waitress was wonderful. How she kept up with our complicated order plus extras was amazing. Five of us ate for under $55 excluding the tip. Of course we left a nice tip commensurate with our enjoyment and the holiday. I highly recommend Waffle House!

“Though I usually do not like WH food, especially the grits and hash browns, I found myself asking to taste them and sufficiently satisfied and ordered them with my eggs. Mrs. Patty was out server and she was so sweet and kind and just the perfect ray of sunshine. I have been told that the store on Gause Blvd. is the best one in Slidell and I must say, I agree. Thank you Mrs. Patty.“
“We stopped at this Waffle House at 2:30 am just before the Christmas holidays, and we weren't expecting much, because of the time of day. The cook was outside taking a break, and he greeted us with a smile and welcomed us into Waffle House by opening the door for us and inviting us inside. The waitress inside was just as happy and friendly as the cook was! By their demeanor and attitudes, you would've thought it was 9:00 am...but NO! The place was completely empty, and it was super clean. Both of them were so warm and welcoming, we felt like we had arrived at a family member's house. They took our order right away, and even made small talk with us while they cooked and prepared our breakfasts. They were genuinely two of the nicest people. On top of that, the food was delicious and tasted like a home cooked meal. We were so happy we stopped in.“
