Waffle House in Biloxi

“That was probably the best diced chicken breast I've ever had along with eggs and hash browns...WOW! Karen our waitress was probably the nicest, happiest waitresses we've ever had in our 30 years of marriage, what an asset to your restaurant!“

“My wife and I are visiting Biloxi. We came into this waffle house around 11:30 PM on a Friday night. Our servers name was Sassy. She was incredibly polite and accommodating. Our Cook was Justin and he did a fantastic job with our food. Everything was very hot and tasted like it was made perfectly. The entire Establishment was very clean. I think that everything was over and beyond what we expected.“

This Waffle House had a manager in the Front of the House. He was dressed in a neatly ironed dress shirt and a yellow tie. He had an established procedure for his wait list and had a coffee station set up such that you could self serve a cup of coffee while you waited for a table. This manager waa a Pro.
The great service did not end there. We sat at the counter where his lead was definitely followed. The staff was friendly and attentive. It was the Waffle House Plus. My expectations were greatly exceeded . This should be a training location for the thousands of others that could benefit from this stores' customer centric focus on the guest experience .

“You’re not gonna get a better Waffle House experience. One of the best waffle houses in the gulf coast easily. If you’re lucky enough to experience that 5pm light cascading through the bay window you’ll know what I mean when I say don’t pass this roadside gem up.“

“Food was good. Tea was sour waitress was making fresh asked if I wanted it I told her yes. Then 2 people came in then waitress told me she wouldn't be finishing the tea because she had other customers to wait on did i want a soda or juice. I told her no I wanted tea. Well she finished the tea and didnt get the full amount of the tip I was gonna leave. You dont tell customer I'm not gonna finish making the tea because someone else came in.“

“Went here Saturday with my family. I have to give a huge shoutout to Julie — she’s an older employee who keeps this place spotless. She was in the booths cleaning every detail, even lifting the condiment trays to wipe underneath, and cleaning the doors and windows at the front entrance. I’ve never seen a Waffle House with tables this clean — usually staff just wipe in passing while running back and forth from the kitchen. Julie clearly takes pride in her work.

Unfortunately, the service from our actual server (not Julie) left a bad taste. Everyone was friendly at first, but her attitude changed noticeably once she saw the $5 cash tip we left on the table. What she didn’t realize is that our daughter had already paid the bill and added a $5 tip on the card — so between the card and cash, she actually received $10 total. The shift in her demeanor over what she thought was a low tip felt unprofessional, especially since it wasn’t the full picture.“
