I used to come here regularly but the food has gone downhill and I won't be back. The poppyseed chicken was one of my favorites but I could barely eat it this last time. The ambrosia was basically a pile of marshmallows with tiny bits of fruit.
A wonderful hidden gem, the food was fantastic. Service was fantastic atmosphere was spot on perfect, great place. I highly recommend.

Dale's Southern Grill is a great lunch option in Hoover area. The menu offers a variety of tasty items, with fast and friendly service. The ambiance is nice, although it can get crowded. The buffalo chicken tenders were a hit, along with delicious green beans and fried okra. The blackened chicken lacked seasoning, but the broccoli salad was on point. The rosemary pork chop with apples was excellent. Some dishes, like lasagna and squash casserole, fell short on flavor. Overall, a good place for a quick meal with a mix of hits and misses on the menu.
