“Our server Paris was absolutely amazing!!! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and was great at upselling. I brought my one year old with us and she gave suggestions on what she could eat and even gave her a little stuffed panda! If I had my own restaurant, I would hire her!“
“We had an amazing time here at Gina's. Our food was delicious and fresh. For an appetizer we had onion rings and a cup of crab corn soup. The onion rings are really thin and crispy , which is so delicious! The cup of soup was a bit cheesy. For the meal I had a shrimp poboy and a piece of my mom's catfish! ( How could I not ! It's fresh Louisiana catfish ) Absolutely DELICIOUS!The shrimp on my poboy and the fish gave me a very similar taste to how the fried shrimp and fish used to taste like at politz. I was so happy about that. We were told by the waitress at politz that they no longer serve Louisiana catfish. Which was really sad to hear , and taste. With this visit at Gina's at the Legion I now no longer have to worry about what place to go to get some good ole Louisiana seafood when I'm back in town. When I was younger Gina used to run a snowball stand that us all in St. Charles Community would support. It was great to continue to support her restaurant. Thank you Gina for all of your great dishes and memories that came along with them.“
“We stopped at this diner on our way through town. The food was excellent and the staff was courteous. The only issue I had was the speed of service. We had to ask more than once for missing ordered items. The waitress was very apologetic and provided the items eventually. I would still return to this location.BTW-- the diner has a HEAVENLY good smell when you enter. Food is hot and cooking!“
“It's been many years since I've been to Fremin's, and I already can't wait to go back. The food was phenomenal. Presentation was as beautiful. Service was out of this world. We were treated very well, and since it was our anniversary they made it special by writing Happy Anniversary on our dessert plates.Highly recommend this place! Also the prices are very reasonable considering that it's a fine dining establishment with the quality of food even being up to par for this Cajun woman.“
“Absolutely gorgeous wedding venue. 2 stories- 1st floor 2 bars and 2 separate rooms. 2nd floor incredible getting ready room for bridal party! With an attached balcony to sit an enjoy a beautiful day. Also a little alcove in between the floors for a private dinner for the bride and groom! Awesome experience“
“I never wait long ever, the employees are beyond polite!!! Great service. Friendly people, amazing food!! I go twice a week just for the funnel cake fries!!! Everything is the best you ever had!!!Kid-friendliness: The seasoned fries are a game changer for kids!!! Use this place for your rewards system lol!!“
“The band was the best. Please continue to have them. They go well with the food. We need these two things. Music is healing and the food is best. You all have a good eye for great musicians. Plus your chef make the ride from Prairieville worth the ride. February 3 2024??????????“
“We were in town for a band competition ordered ahead for the kids to.pick up at a specific time. They had it ready and packed for us at pickup. Mangers were very helpful in making choice on the best deal for our kids and were excited to help. We will see yall again next year.“
“We came to Thibodaux for Y’all stars, stopped by for a late lunch and local food. This place was awesome! Got the stuffed potatoes it was all amazing exactly what we were looking for. She also made us an order of Boudin balls to try! Great welcoming staff! We will definitely stop by again before we leave.“
“The food never disappoints but the service is not great. The last time I went with my family, the waitress was asking if we wanted to-go boxes 10 minutes after we got our meal. While we were waiting for our dessert that we were taking to-go, I was offered a water refill, which I never got. After the 15 minutes wait for dessert, the waitress walks out with only my dessert, no to-go box for my son’s food that we asked for 3 times. Needless to say, my son didn’t get to bring home his leftovers.“
“1st sit down meal with my oldest son in 13 years. It was Christmas Eve difficult to find a place still fortunately the reputation of waffle House lured us to that beacon of greasy spoons. Seated immediately and before we knew it we were having breakfast for supper. Portions were adequate and thes" place seemed relatively clean on the eve of the biggest day of the year. My shout-out to the staff who were working to serve on a day that most were with loved ones ..... Sure was hoping to see the " Big Guy" because the grapevine says he occasionally "drops" in because of waffle House being open on his busiest night. Oh well why would one listen to a grapevine anyway??? ????“
“Had the pleasure of going to Norm's for the first time last night. We stopped there before the fight to grab a drink while we were waiting on friends. It was only like 6:00 pm so not packed at all. The bartenders were so nice and welcoming. We stuck out like sore thumbs and they could tell it was our first time there lol. They immediately offered menus, suggestions, etc. I didn't have long so I opted for a small liquid marijuana daiquiri. IT WAS SO FREAKING GOOD!! It has the perfect amount of bite. So after the fight we just had to come back. That was when the party was starting lol. It was packed. Karaoke going! We had SO much fun and again, the bartenders were impeccable! They kept up with the ever growing crowd with ease! Look this is your typical, small, hometown bar. Lots of locals. But again, even though we clearly were not locals (didn't have my Nicholls red on lol), we were made to feel very welcomed. Both visits. We do plan on coming back next time we're out there and will definitely get out there early enough to try the food! Just want to reiterate one more time, the bartenders were amazing. I wish I could have gotten their names but it was a girl and a guy behind the bar the first time and then later that night it was 2 girls and 1 guy. It was the night/morning of October 7 so if they happen to see this thank you!!!“
“Stop here based of reading about it in a bayou food trail website. It did not disappoint! We went with some apps due to plans for other stops through the day. The voodoo shrimp was amazing. We also had the jalapeño hush puppies and some chicken and sausage gumbo. Could not go wrong with any of these dishes.“
“I got a chocolate shake which tasted good. Kind of pricey compared to big chain fast food places but has hometown feel and atmosphere. One gentleman had an ice cream cone in which the ice cream mounted at least 6 inches above the cone. Before he got back in his truck the ice cream fell to the ground and the cone was empty. They had failed to fill the cone with ice cream! However, they promptly gave him another one. Overall, good service and product.“
“The best restaurant and cocktail program in Houma-Thibodaux. It is at the level of good New Orleans restaurants, and is a huge asset to the region. If there is one way this place could improve, it would be with better acoustics. There’s something about every nice restaurant in this area, Cinclaire included, where they insist on hard floors, high ceilings, and nothing to dampen the sound. It shouldn’t deter you though. This place is a gem.“
