I stop here at least twice a month and will often drive from Laplace to Vacherie for their boiled items and tea cookies if they're not sold out. I prefer their smoked andouille and smoked turkey necks better than Jacob's or Bailey's. They also make a great hog's head cheese. The fresh Des Allemands Catfish is very good and the prices are fair. If spiece is your thing, don't skip on the boiled turkey necks plate 🔥🔥🔥🔥

The song by Carly Simon come to mind live and let die. No one does it better. Make me feel sad for the rest. This is the best seafood I have tasted in a long time. Wishing I wasn't so far. I would be back down there in my car. The crawfish and crabs was season to perfection. And don't forget about the sides. The potatoes and corn were right on. I couldn't get enough. That's some good stuff. I bought some crayfish bisque and some crayfish stew. Because I know they know what they're doing. These people at Chenier's ain't fooling. If yall really want to know how real seafood taste go and visit there place. Chenier's is the Ace.
We made a random stop here after trying to find a sugar plantation tour which is supposed to be across the street from this place but non-existent in reality. Very nice and friendly folks. Wish they had warm soup too. There's a huge selection of everything in the freezer but it wouldn't work for us as we didn't need frozen food. We bought 3 lbs of boiled seafood and ate right outside the store LOL. Very tasty, friends devoured everything. For vegetarians, corn, potatoes and mushrooms are available which are all yummy IMO. People passing by probably thought we were starving. They let us discard the shells in their garbage can so our rental car wouldn't stink. Bathrooms available.

Ordered and paid for a sack of oysters a week and a half prior to when I wanted them. Got a call the day before to confirm I was coming pick up my sack of oysters and when I went to pick them up, I was told I ordered something else and they were out of oysters. Thanks for nothing Cheniers, I’ll never be back and will make sure everyone I know never goes there either.

I went there for a friend to get some pork boudin, I also got some boil potatoes and boil potatoes, 4 Lil bite-sized potatoes (pricey) nice flavor tho. Definitely will not visit this establishment.
