Nice place. Well preserved. At this plantation the slavery part is kinda glossed over. We have told the other historical plantations have a better way of presenting the horrors of slaves.
Truly feels like you've been thrown back in time almost 200 years.
We stayed in one of the cottages called the Milkshed for our first year anniversary. A wonderful experience. My favorite part was having full access and being able to walk the grounds at night with no one there. ❤️❤️

What an experience, loved the history and experience. Tour guide was pretty good. The slave quarters were eye opening.
Hard to believe 2 people could live together in completely different environments.
