This was an excellent stop after our tour. My husband and I shared the Cajun medley after sharing swamp fries. Both were very good. We also had the mint juleps. Hard to beat a KY mint julep. The weather was perfect so we were able to sit outside. Great stop!

Plantation is beautiful of course We bought 6 tickets. One of us couldn't come. No refund of course. When I asked for the ticket I wouldnt use they gave it to me. When I handed it to a lady in line behind me they shouted at me loud and angrily "thats not how this works!" I didnt appreciate the aggressiveness. I retrieved the ticket and gave it back. They just glared. Went to lunch. It wasn't busy plenty of tables. I asked nicely not to be seated beside the swinging door of the kitchen. She moved us but glared and slammed our menus and silver down. Kind of soured our day. Wont be back

Absolutely amazing! The service is on point and food is at the same level. This is the cutest little converted house attached to the gift shop. Don't let it fool you, this is a perfect spot to grab lunch while you're stilling Oak Alley :)

On tour here we stopped in for lunch on Feb 28, 2024. We had the shrimp, crab meat and okra gumbo and the special which were crepes filled with shrimp, crawfish, peas, and carrots in a tomato creole cream sauce. Both dishes were delicious. They grow their own mint which is used to make mint juleps which we also tried; it was refreshing! Our server was very kind with wonderful southern hospitality.

Were were really looking forward to eating here and drove about 30 min out of the way to give it a try. When we arrived we were seating immediately. When looking over the menu, it seemed a bit bland. I will give credit that the gumbo was delicious, but everything else I had and Christina had was just not very good.I would put this in the category that if you are just really really hungry, it will work, but walk in with minimal expectations.

In the cafe the need to wear gloves with getting ice cream. I have seen them scratch touch money and other items with out washing their hands and they’re touching on the cones and food.

If you are person of color this is NOT a place to eat! Before we was seated to a table the hostess ask if we was on a tour or had a bus time and I told her that we needed to be back on the bus by 1:15. Once we were seated we looked at the menu and waited for a waiter or waitress to take our order or at less give us water. We notice that two couples came after us while we were waiting. After already waiting 15 minutes to be serve a waiter came in and decided to take one of couple order that came after us. We wanted to give the waiter the benefit of the doubt but when a waitress came in she decided to take the other couple who also came after us order we knew and felt that they DID NOT want to serve us. FYI yes the other two couples were WHITE.

Zero if I could. Couldn’t have much of an experience as the person who is supposed to seat you and us had a strange exchange. For lunch time, I dropped in with my toddler while my husband was outside trying to put our baby to stroller. The restaurant was nearly empty. I was asked how many and I said we are two but my husband will join shortly. The person looks at my face and tells me she cannot sit us down as “all party must be there”. Seriously? What an attitude for an empty place. In a minute, husband joins us and we are finally shown the way. To the most crammed corner of a half room with three tables. The table on the right is occupied, the person places us to the table (full party and stroller with a baby sleeping in it) in the middle table and leaves. In 10 seconds she comes back to say we cannot have the stroller there with us because the empty chair on the table on the left cannot move. I ask if she is joking as I won’t leave the sleeping baby away from me and she says no.We left as we could not take her incomprehension no more. So, you’d be fine if you don’t dine here.

Food was amazing, the service was exemplary. We were there for a tour, so we had a departure time. The manager made sure we were aware what would be ready fast to ensure we did not miss the ride back. Their bread pudding was amazing and we added that to an already excellent gumbo (chicken and sausage).

you really eat very well. Friendly and helpful staff, welcoming environment. We ate a Cajun tasting plate (good) and a truly excellent blackened Maki-maki. The desserts are also good. Definitely
