I highly recommend stopping by. The food was wonderful. If you want their gumbo get there early. People buy it by the gallon! The owner brought the experience of visiting Louisiana to a whole new level though. "Ducky" and I will never forget the experiences you gave us or your kindness!

By far the worst service I’ve EVER received at a restaurant. We had about 7 people at our table and after two hours the only thing we received were fried pickles. We were so frustrated with the service that we were about to leave. We were being extremely patient even with the worst possible service you could imagine and we reached a point where enough was enough. Someone at our table kindly asked if we could get our food just put in a to go box and the lady gave us a nasty look like we were the ones that were being difficult. This restaurant let me down and maybe even let the whole state of Louisiana down with the abysmal food they gave us and I can’t confirm it for a fact but I’m pretty sure they spit in our food with is low class to say the least. I will NEVER return here and you would think they would at least give us some sort of a discount for the awful experience but the very rude lady forced us to pay a 20% tip almost at our will and threatened us. Again these people are low class and rude DO NOT COME HERE unless you want your food spit on and awful service.

This cute family owned restaurant caught my eye and we decided to pop in for brunch. The place is decorated very cute country chic decor. I love the huge family photo displayed in the dining area. As soon as we walked through the door we received the warmest welcome from Michelle the owner’s daughter, she’s very sweet and attentive. We ordered the mozzarella sticks as the appetizer, fried shrimp platter w/sweet potatoes fries, seafood platter w/cajun fries and both come with side salad. We also ordered an iced tea(they come bottled, no more fountain drinks) and a glass of Sangria(delish) The shrimp and the mozzarella sticks were really good! My BF said he didn’t really care for the fried oysters(too fishy) and the fish. The menu is a little pricey but you get a good amount of food.

Went there July 23rd 2024 I was really hungry seeing how I haven't ate all day God made a hamburger and sweet potato fries nice homemade hamburger little pink on the inside 20 minutes later my stomach started bubbling the next day I woke up to diarrhea more diarrhea and more diarrhea I need to clean something over there

The best service I have received in a long time! This was our first time experiencing Venice and we are definitely blown away! This restaurant has the kindest staff ! Ms. Suzette was a fantastic waitress and made me feel as if I was a friend of hers for years! Will definitely return and recommend to anyone that heads down this way!

I had to go to the southernmost point- it was a moral imperative!When I got hungry, I stopped at Changes.Michelle greeted me kindly, as soon as I entered, sat me down, and gave me a menu.Then Justine came by to chat. Well, you've never met a nicer, friendlier woman!And then my freshly made, homemade hot shrimp and grits came!!Man o man!! I've never eaten anything so divine in my life! True dat! I gobbled down this huge streaming bowl. I was to die for!!If only I could take the chef home with me... is eat shrimp and grits all day! The shrimp were really large and packed with Flava! O. M. G. mouthwatering delicious!!! What a gem! Justine, you're an angel! I'm coming down again next time I visit my Aunti.
