Great starting point for a fishing adventure!
This was going to be my very FIRST fishing trip and was told by an experienced angler that if I wanted to do it right travel to Venice Marina. So I did! I didn't know exactly what to expect but the experience I got was fantastic. Jordan our captain was terrific and oh sooo patient. He was a captain, a dj, an educator, a guide, an assistant and a gentleman. Ladies, ask for Jordan if you reserve a charter. Now, I understand why people love fishing and being on the water.

Venice Marina offers a unique experience with its restaurant, bar, and store on site. The marina provides a safe and walkable environment with improved surfaces and new launch facilities. Guests can enjoy fishing and boating, including deep sea fishing trips and charters. There are minimalist cabins available for rent that are clean, comfortable, and pretty nice. The marina is a great spot for duck hunters and fishermen, with plenty of room to moor boats. Visitors often stay here every year for duck trips and enjoy being at the mouth of Louisiana’s best offshore fishing. The friendly staff and unique atmosphere make it a popular destination. The food at Crawgators was excellent and fantastic. Note that the boat ramp may be under construction, and high-octane fuel is not available on site.
