Servers were fun and friendly. Steak was perfectly seasoned. They need entertainment in the bar area. No music. No TV's.

Ordered a Rost Beef PoBoy with no tomatoes. Came out somewhat warm-ish with tomatoes.
That's not the bad part.
It was made with lunch meat and packet gravy and day old bread if not longer.
Absolute trash food for $18.
The bar had NO TV on NO Music playing.

We stopped at Cypress Grill after a long fishing day in Venice, and this place did NOT disappoint. Portions were generous, flavors were on point, and everything tasted fresh.
We tried a little bit of everything—fried catfish bites, hushpuppies with their spicy remoulade, gator bites, tacos stacked with slaw and cheese. Every bite had that Louisiana kick! The sauces especially were fire 🔥 I found myself dipping everything in ‘em.
Service was friendly and quick, and the staff kept our drinks full the whole time. The atmosphere is laid-back and casual, perfect for folks coming straight off the water. Don’t expect fancy, expect good food that fills you up and makes you happy.
If you’re in Venice for fishing or just passing through, Cypress Grill is a solid stop for hearty southern seafood and local flavors.

This place does not exist. The Dock has replaced this. Why is Google so far behind
Took 45 minutes to get or order placed. Another 45 minutes to get our food, which was mediocre at best. Have a view of the marina was the only positive.

Maybe the bar is okay. Breezy porch and all that. I was only there once but there will never be a next time. Waitress pushed the “ snapper throats “ special. . I do like good collars and cheeks so I went along. She asked if I wanted a drink. I said Coke but not too much ice. Slaw or Fries? I picked slaw. Slaw was okay , Coke was a slushy exactly what “ not too much ice “ wants to avoid. Now the throats. Hard Deep fried in heavy batter that had to be cracked. 3 tiny throats. Throats have to be big enough for some large flakes or chunks to be found by the explorer. . Plenty of bone but no bit bigger than a pea. These fish were probably 6 inches long in life. Bait maybe. Food no ! My plate was a brown wasteland of bones and batter casing. She brought me a bill $7 bucks more than the throats. I had assumed slaw was part of the lunch. Nope! That was three bucks and the slushy was 3 bucks. I raised an eyebrow and she got crabby. I forked over $24 bucks and left with a bad taste that didn’t come from micro fish. You don’t have much choice and maybe the burgers are ok but surrounded by sea and fishing boats I guess I was deluded! Skip it!

Food was delicious. Service was amazing. Great view of the Marina from the deck. Mojitos were very good. I had the special Liver and Onions, mashed potatoes with brown gravy. Liver was cooked very well. Tender and not dry. Onions were caramelized nicely and the mashed wasn't instant. Brown Gravy had good flavor.
Parking: Parking is easy in the lot. You do have to walk up the stairs to the restaurant. I dint look for ADA accessibility as I didn't need it.

I had high hopes for this place from previous reviews, but was disappointed. Menu very limited for a restaurant at a marina and they no longer have soft shell crab on menu. Food was mediocre as well as service. In all fairness our waitress was also tending bar, but that should not be our problem. Seemed like a local watering hole for fisherman, so if that what you want, then this is your place.

After my experience with the restaurant at Venice Marina where I had gotten grilled shrimp and it was Honestly the worst thing I have ever put in my mouth, taste like iodine and was expensive, I was reluctant on whether I even wanted to try this place but I'm so glad we did. My husband got a Shrimp Po Boy and I got the hamburger steak and grilled vegetables. Those grilled vegetables were heavenly and my husband said his Shrimp Po Boy was amazing. 5 stars across the board and the prices were very reasonable

Best place in south plaquemines. Actually the only place. We had a family dinner down here. The seafood fries are amazing. Full of flavor and cheese. Great food.

Nice place to eat after a hot day on the water. Everyone had a delicious meal and the fried pickles were a neat appetizer.
Parking: There is plenty of room for a truck pulling a trailer or boat.
Wheelchair accessibility: Restaurant was on the second floor, I'm not sure if they had an elevator. They had a stairwell on both sides of the Restaurant.

We drove down from New Orleans just to be able to say we had gone to the end of the Mississippi River. After a disappointing photo op at the graffitied, unkept sign we followed a “yes,we’re open” sign down a side road just to be nosey. We discovered the cute little resort area. We debated eating at the Cypress Grill or just driving back to the city. We are glad that we decided to eat. It is a typical small town marina grill with a comfortable deck to eat with a view of the marina. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. And the prices were reasonable. The cheeseburger was huge and well cooked. The chicken tenders were hand cut and breaded which was a nice surprise as we expected the typical frozen tender fare. The shrimp poboy was the shining star of the meal with perfectly cooked shrimp and a perfect ratio of mayonnaise and lettuce. The sweet potato and regular fries were hot and crispy but I would highly recommend the truffle fries.
