Delicious food, great historical location and good service. Perfect for celebrations, special occasions or a regular meal. I live out of state, but when I return home for a visit I try to make a point of driving the hour from Alexandria to enjoy a meal at the Steamboat.
Only their for the first time with clients. Who had a drink before heading to a wedding reception down the road.
The manager and staff were polite. Their parking lot began to fill about 20 minutes before opening at 5 pm. With a continously growing at the door. We left at 5:20 pm. Maybe a few parking spaces left in the lot. With vehicles still entering it. Impressive!

First time eating here. Emily was our server and she was great - attentive
yet not overbearing.
We started with cocktails and they were decorated for Halloween. What a
fun way to start the evening. Appetizers - Courtableau Stingrays, shrimp
and jalapeno peppers wrapped in bacon with remoulade sauce. Excellent
flavors. Well fried, not hard crispy. Crab and Crawfish Cakes with
remoulade...
