I wanted something Louisiana for lunch, and their menu looked like what I had in mind, so I stopped in for lunch. The place is immaculate with a golf course for the view! My wife and a stopped in at The Max for dinner. I ordered the All District Burger, and she had the shrimp poboy. The waitress, Aubrianna was very nice and helpful. Our food came quickly, and it was as we ordered. I was ready to take a bite of what I was sure was to be one of the best burgers I've ever eaten. It is, after all, a 3 meat blend. Great restaurant on the golf course. Rich history of Westlake, LA in the decor. The Max is a staple for this community and it’s visitors. Good food, great views, cold beer, 18 holes and the people of Westlake, LA. You might not leave!
