“I’ve been a fan of KK’s since it first opened, and the food and service have always been outstanding. Lately, I’ve noticed just how popular it has become—almost every table is full, and for good reason! The gumbo is incredible, with a dark roux that’s absolutely phenomenal. The homemade onion rings are perfectly seasoned, and their breakfast offerings are just as amazing. Don’t get me started on the desserts—they’re to die for. This is Louisiana homestyle comfort food at its finest. The service is always timely, pleasant, and consistently welcoming. I also love the inviting atmosphere and the charming decor on the walls—it really adds to the experience. KK’s is truly a gem!”

The fried egg rolls and rangoon do not taste like some other restaurants who use low quality or over-used oil.

The brown sauce on my chicken with vegetables was savory without being salty. And the sweet and sour shrimp and chicken - the sauce wasn't gelatinous and not sickeningly sweet. It had a very pleasant, subtle fruit flavor.

The portion sizes are perfect- each entree is large enough for 2 meals. In today's economy that is a big factor.

The chicken wings are HUGE and definitely worth trying. They are almost as large as turkey wings - not scrawny meatless bones at all.

“We found this gem while in town for Mardi Gras! The friendly staff smiled and greeted us when we walked in and make our visit pleasant. We ordered po boys, wings, and lo mein. Everything was hot and delicious and the prices were the great! Wish I could leave 20 stars!!”

“This is one of the few places that actually serve a thick crust pizza nearby. I took a friend here last night and the food was fantastic. I got the traditional Detroit style pizza as well as the chick chick bruh appetizer. Both are scrumptious. The surface were polite and helpful, and everything was decently clean. The one thing I didn't care for is that the place is a bit noisy, and it makes it difficult to carry a conversation. Despite that inconvenience I do plan to eat here again because the food and the service make it worth it.”

“Amazing customer service! There was a mix up with our Waitr (ASAP) order. They were given the wrong order to deliver that was under the same name as ours (honest mistake) but Waitr was not able to go back and get it due to policy. An employee of Yoka drove to our home and delivered our correct food. Food was fresh and delicious!”

“Victoria was so communicative throughout the ordering process and everything was so easy with her! Our wedding cake was stunning. My jaw was on the floor when I saw it out of the box. She provided instructions for care and cutting which was so helpful and the cake was DELICIOUS! Would 100% recommend again and again!”
