Party of 4 during the week for dinner. The menu has so many options that I know I didn't read half of it. Bang Bang Shrimp appetizer was good. The rest of the meal was meh. Esp for the price. The boiled shrimp had a taste that no one could seem to explain except that it had a lavender flavor. Seems like since the establishment is IN Youngsville they can charge more. But the food has to be excellent to pay those prices. We live half a mile a way and don't have plans to go back. It's unfortunate. We like to keep things local and eat and shop at places in Youngsville as often as we can.

The food was good. It’s just that the waitress was the bartender and the waitress at the same time. That’s just too much on one person. So she forgot a lot of things. The drinks was okay. I will be back after 6 pm for HAPPY HOUR????overall a good cleannnn. place ‼️

We went to eat crawfish we noticed they weren’t as hot as normal. The assistant manager came over took them back to the trailer I’m assuming said he was putting a fresh batch of crawfish down, not even 10 minutes later she bought the crawfish back. All they did was dipped the same crawfish in the hot water they boiled the crawfish in and brought them back to us. They were water logged. Never AGAIN

Ordered spicy boiled crawfish and boy was it good. Really good flavor and not too spicy. Will definitely be back for more. 10 out of 10

Tried for the first time, comfortable and clean restaurant, staff was very friendly. Can't say much about the food, wife ordered the grille fish tacos and received fried fish on it, we ordered the char broiled oyster special and it was terrible, tiny oyster smothered in mozzarella cheese and had an unusual after taste, we didn't finish the dozen. I ordered bowl of chicken and andouie sausage gumbo. It was extremely dark and had a burned taste, again I didn't eat much of that. The highlight was the side salad, which was fresh and tasty. We had an awful experience, apparently Tad's doesn't cook cajun food very well. We won't recommend or return to this restaurant, there are to many better ones in the area

. We had been seeing this place, so decided to drive over for lunch. Nice new building. plenty off-street parking no shade. I had the crawfish "Half & Half"; fried tails & etouffee. The tails were perfect. Etouffee was good, but lots of Cayenne, Boss Lady had fried shrimp w/ french fries, Also very good. Plenty quantity of everything; reasonable (market) prices. A couple things we always look for in anew place are taste of iced tea and cleanliness of restrooms. Tea was very good. Rest rooms 4/5. Boss summed it up well when leaving: "Good place; but not worth the 30" drive over." This is probably the toughest, most-competitive region for restaurant quality on Planet Earth; so 4/5 is not bad. I noted that this is a small local chain with restaurants in Eunice, Youngsville, Lake Charles, & Katy (West Houston Metro). As we are in Katy frequently, we'll likely try that one next. Try this place ! Rick .

Overall, my experience was just 'meh.' It's been since October 2023, and honestly, I haven't felt the urge to go back since. I ordered the Grilled Atlantic Salmon with a Baked Sweet Potato, and my boyfriend got the TaD's Grilled Chicken Sandwich with a baked potato. We both gave the food a so-so rating of 6/10. It was alright, but nothing to write home about; lacked a bit of flavor, especially the house salad, which was a letdown. And for what we paid, it didn't quite hit the spot. Service-wise, it wasn't fantastic either; we barely saw our server, and it took ages to get our drinks initially. My boyfriend was a bit more generous, giving his sandwich a 7/10, but still, we both agreed it wasn't worth another visit, considering the price and the forgettable food and service.

Ok the first time I came I was not impressed and I wasn't coming back. I got the steak and it wasn't grilled to perfection , it was burnt and tasted burnt. Fast forward a month and tonight I had the crawfish 1/2 & 1/2 was Bangin! I don't really care for someone else's étouffée but our amazing waitress Madeline made the recommendation and she was spot on! It was sooo good. Almost as good as good as Maw-Maw's.... Almost! Thank to the staff for a great night of delicious food and for having Mango Cart on draft!!! Perfect pairing with anything seafood!

Great experience! Had the fried fish appetizer and crawfish half & half. Both were great. Our waitress, Olivia, was fantastic.
