All positive: sharp aesthetic; friendly, knowledgeable staff; plenty of parking and room for special events; food trucks; to-go options and merch; and the OG beer hearse. Similar enough to the newer Boston location that you can pick whichever is convenient, if not going for an event.“

“We had a wonderful time at Barrell Z House this past Saturday. Our bartender, dressed in Germany garb for Oktoberfest, was so friendly and helpful. We had our little dog Ella with us and was made to feel welcome. Our bartender even brought us a fresh bowl of water for her. We got some delicious sirloin sliders for us and doggie biscuits with PB for Ella from the food truck. My husband and I enjoyed the IPA. We tasted two different types, one more fruity and aroma, the other more hoppy. We’re hop heads and both agreed that the more hoppy one was our fav! They have a nice, shady outdoor area with Adirondack chairs, a great space to soak up the beer and sunshine these early fall days.“

“We used to come here nearly weekly, the we mived. Not far, but far enough not to go anymore. When we left, the restaurant had just changed hands and was trying hard to maintain the homey feeling the joint already had .We visited for the first time in two years on a weekday and I'm happy to say the have settled in nicely. We were even recognized by our waitress - which really was a great feeling.The food was really terrific, even though the kitchen was a bit backed up. Everything was hot, plentiful and delicious. “Our first visit was today. We have been to many deli's in New York, Boston etc and this one excels them in quality and certainly friendliness. Owner is an executive chef and has learned all the traditional ways of Jewish cooking. Everything we had was fantastic, even the Cole slaw. We had potato pancakes, knishes, egg salad 1/2 sandwich (Quite large) and a beef brisket 1/2 sandwich so full I could barely finish it. Tomato bisque soup was also exceptional. This place is cozy and comfortable with a convenient parking lot out front. We highly recommend you visit this place if you want great Jewish style deli food. We will be returning soon. We loved our waitress Betsy, who is very sweet, pleasant, friendly, and helpful in explaining the menu and bringing takeout items for us to see before we ordered our takeout food as well. We are eagerly looking forward to our next visit.“

“Atmosphere at this place is great! It's never crowded and you can sit inside at the bar or a few high tops or outside on the patio or under a tent. A dog friendly establishment you can have your pooch inside or out on a leash. They have games to enjoy while you sip your brews and we took full advantage of the Uno set! Brews are served in plastic cups by a very friendly and proud staff. They don't have food but they don't care if you bring your own, so definitely grab some takeout and enjoy yourself!“

“Julia is the perfect blend of kindness, dependability and and an artist at her craft. I used her for a company lunch for 75 in the Seaport and she went out her way to make sure it was perfect... and it was!!! From helping me create a menu, to setup and execution it was a great experience . The food was sensational !!! Mini sandwiches, platters of chicken and salmon, salads, fresh fruit and mini sweets and even protein bites! I recommend the Fresh Feast without hesitation!“

Owners are nice and they have done a good job of improving upon their business while keeping a similar aesthetic to what many have been used to for years.Only complaint I’ve had: I like ice cream sodas (I don’t think they are even on the menu to be fair), so I’ll occasionally ask if the staff knows how to make them. They usually say yes, but they really don’t know how to make them . They should probably be trained how to, or told to just say no and suggest something else. I’ve gotten some pretty interesting concoctions. One of the girls told me she absolutely knew how to make it when I ordered a chocolate ice cream soda with banana ice cream. I got soda water and cream/milk with cut up banana chunks (the fruit) floating in it. I’m not mad though, considering it isn’t really on the menu and the staff is young. Everything else I’ve gotten there was great though.“

“My husband and I come here all the time. The hours are somewhat limited, but they're a growing local business. The beer and staff are great. It's dog friendly and an all around great atmosphere. It's a nice spot to watch a game, and enjoy a high quality beer. If your on the south shore, stop by. You won't regret it!“

“Ordered dinner tonight for 5 South Main. First the woman who took my order was so pleasant! We ordered the bolognese and the meatloaf. It was outstanding. Just like a home cooked meal. The meatloaf had a fig glaze on it. I thought it might be too sweet but it wasn't. The mashed potatoes and green beans were cooked perfectly! The bolognese had a flavorful sauce not acidic and plenty of meat in the sauce. Would definitely order this again. Absolutely delicious!“

“Both the Quincy location as well as the Hanover location are absolutely great places to go. I always have the Sirloin, which is top notch, and they cook it at both locations perfectly every time. The wait staff is always on point, and the restaurant managers are present, always, and hands on. The drinks, considering what you pay for drinks everywhere these days, are poured well.“

The staff is incredibly friendly, from the hostess, to our server (I regrettably cannot remember her name) and even the manager, every single person in the restaurant was so kind. The food was 10/10 (got the Greek salad with grilled chicken and an appetizer, the burrata plate) great portion sizes, reasonable prices, an all around great experience. The Juice Mill is adorably decorated (you can purchase locally made small batch dog treats) and boasts a squeaky clean interior. The staff is super friendly and makes everything to order. The menu offers toasts, paninis, açaí bowls (they look deliciously huge), smoothies and juices. I opted for the Beetiful Boost juice (beet, carrot, pear, pineapple, ginger). The spicy bite of fresh ginger cuts through the earthy beets, which my stomach desperately needed. The remaining ingredients gave the perfect amount of sweetness to the overall flavor. Parking in their location is especially tough since 2 of the closest 6 spots are reserved for handicapped plates, but really, park anywhere and walk around Bridgewater center.“

“2nd time at Jenna's! Didn't disappoint. I got the turkey club with waffle fries. The bacon was super crispy and the fries were seasoned perfectly. My friend got a burger that was also delicious. Then we shared and oreo frosty, soooo good! Service is fast, reasonably priced--a little on the higher side but they use high quality ingredients and meat. It was a super hot day, but still felt a breeze under the umbrellaed picnic tables!“

“We LOVE Skillets. Our family has been coming here frequently since our daughter was a new born. They kept new, overly tired parents caffeinated and have been exceptional towards our daughter. Our waitress calls our daughter her Bestie! I ordered on DoorDash one and asked for a heart in chocolate chips because our daughter was potty training. They not only did that- but they made it Mickey Mouse!!! Only a good hearted kitchen staff would surpass our expectations. I wanted to try different dishes before giving my honest review! I have tried the following: Chicken Parmesan, Fish/Shrimp & Fries, Cole Slaw, Asparagus, Salad, Cheesecake, Canoli, and Fried Pickes! Not one dish was a disappointment! :)As of Thursday, March 28, 2024, True North Kitchen is officially my number one go to eatery in Weymouth!
