“Great tasting lobsters and lobster sandwiches. Best lobster bisque in the world--seriously. Seafood chowder also very good. We always go here for the lobster special, which is reasonably priced. Where else in Boston can you get 2 lobsters and a bowl of mussels for less than 50 bucks? This place rocks.“
“Atmosphere nice , brew ariste was very nice and accommodating at the counter. I had a sample of fiver (hazy ipa) nice and smooth. Not too hoppy. Very smooth. I also had the rice brew which was nice taste. Tried the stout. To strong for my palate. Good atmosphere…“
“Tatte is probably my favorite restaurant. I am usually really happy with what I order, and a few dishes (shakshuka and croque madame, nutbox, I'm looking at you) are my favorite foods anywhere. I have some constructive criticism though.First, ditch the round cafe tables. One plate takes the whole table, leaving no space for your friend to eat comfortably with you. Forget about setting your laptop up while eating.Second, some of the desserts need adjustments. Overall, anything lemon based needs more lemon and less sugar. When I bite into a lemon meringue tart or a pavlova, I expect to taste a bright, citrusy, refreshing curd. It's missing here - all I get is the intense sweetness of meringue.Overall, Tatte is great! Keep doing awesome things. Visitors should be sure to try the lemonade (best anywhere), the brownies (with nuts!!), and the shakshuka. Pear tarts and (when in season) stone fruit gallette are always a win!“
“Place was rocking on a Saturday afternoon after a short renovation and reopening. Metal music, dogs, and hazy IPAs. A bit of an outdated concept at this point but it still seems to be working for them. On the pricey side but came for the lagers and was not disappointed. Both their Helles and Czech Dark were quality and quite good. Would drink the Helles (Logic Gate) regularly if I were local. Good taproom vibes and a few good eats available.“
“The menu is quite expansive, so this is a good catering option. I love middle eastern/Mediterranean food, so I’ve tried a lot of different places in Boston. Compared to other places, I wouldn’t say Sultana’s makes the cut for my favorites, but it wasn’t bad.- Spinach feta quiche: The portion size is good, but the flavor was bland. I wasn’t able to finish it.- Cookies: The cookies weren’t overly sweet, which I liked. They were crumbly yet soft.- Fruit yogurt pastry: This was my favorite. I liked that they are bite-sized (though, this is also dangerous because you’ll end up eating a lot). The pastry was flaky, and the yogurt was sweet, which balanced the tartness of the fruits.- Caprice acma: I wasn’t a fan of this. The acma was too doughy. Maybe it would have tasted better warm.Happy to have tried a new place, but I probably wouldn’t come back.“
“I have been to MIDA a couple times now, this location along with the Newton location. Normally I get the paccheri bolognese or the rock shrimp carbonara, with the north shore fruit to misto to start, which is their calamari. This recent visit, I tried the short rib lasagna and arancini. All of the food was solid, per usual... I will say the pasta was a little too al dente and the temperature of the food did not arrive to our table hot but more so warm. Otherwise, the flavors are always spot on and amazing; I just wish the food was more hot. Our server was kind and super helpful. If you are not in the mood for any alcoholic drinks, you can never go wrong with their shirley temple. This location gets pretty packed for dinner time, but the wait for table is never too long. I recommend coming here if you are in the mood for Italian and do not want to go the North End and struggle with finding parking.“
“Excellent lil shop, excellent service. The croons were out of the world. We have been looking for good quality croons and other than amorino , I didn’t like anything. But now I have a new favourite place. I got 6, I ate two of them because of couldn’t resist it and I couldn’t help but write a positive review about this business. I definitely recommend this place if you are looking for some high quality croons and coffee ( especially the dirty chai latter )“
“Their honey maple tables, spacious rooms, and plush seats are a haven for anyone who appreciates a genuine speakeasy for enjoying a good drink with friends. As someone who doesn’t drink, their juniper belt is my go-to, and it is zesty. The distillery itself is in a pleasant part of town, as the staff is so friendly and wants you to truly enjoy yourself.“
“This is the most Authentic French Restaurant I’ve tried in Boston. The food is generous and smells and tastes like a Sunday at my grandmother’s. The staff was amazing. They even offered us their Mousse au Chocolat for my friend’s birthday. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. ?I loved the maxi profiteroles and the salmon. And the bread was warm and fresh. They also do vegetarian options!French or not, you must try it.“
“We were welcomed in and they made excellent suggestions me and my son home from college. Also I left my wallet behind ( never happened to me in 56years) They had it for me with a smile and over $400 cash. Left a nice tip and I thanked them , I told the I would leave a review. Genuinely nice people work hereThe coffee drinks were amazing. Go there it's right behind Pho Hoa same bldg very nice space .“
“We live in the neighborhood and visited Lazy Bear after having dinner at a neighborhood restaurant. The staff was so nice to me and my daughter. They gave her samples of the ice cream...which she LOVED. She got cotton candy ice cream. It tasted just like cotton candy but without being clowingly too sweet. It was delicious. I'm not a big fan of sweets, but "When in Rome..." I got the black raspberry. Super delicious. My daughter and i both got "single" scoops in a cup. Lazy Bear's scoop is extremely generous. It was actually more like 3 scoops. They also have free sample of their hot chocolate... which was equally delicious. One of the guys told us his grandmother makes homemade fudge that they sell. You can smell the fresh cookies in the background. And, they make their own whipped cream in several flavors. Lazy Bear has our business from now on. Great products, great staff, no pretentious stuff, great variety, great store... they delivered on everything. We're already agreed we'll be back next week.“
“Nice spot, great vibe. We sat at the bar on Friday evening and were greeted by 2 very nice bartenders. The calm chowder and calamari were fine. We decided to share the seared cob. It was just ok. Not a lot of taste. It was too thick for my liking. The fixings were a bit too funky. I don't think the value is that frigate money.“
“For my first visit, I tried the signature chocolate chip walnut cookie that started it all. $5.25 was quite expensive for a cookie, but the cookie was very heavy. I liked the crispiness of the outside and the thick, gooey center. The walnut taste was distinguishable but subtle. I definitely recommend heating up the cookie to melt the chocolate chips because it tasted better that way. However, it also tasted fine at room temperature. The inside had a cool mural of Boston but no seating. However, there are seats outside, which would be nice in the summer. It was empty when I went, so service was fast.“
“Jinny’s has been our favorite pizza since they opened. Everything is amazing from the pizzas to the appetizers and the service is 10/10. The pepperoni pizza and caesar salad are a must! The ‘mike’s hot honey’ is great added on to the pizza. Don’t forget to add a buttermilk ranch dippin’ sauce for the crust. We do both dine in and take out. Seating is pretty limited so plan ahead. No reservations. Worth the wait! They move quick too.“
“The lobster rolls were amazing. It is pricey but I’m pretty sure they give you an entire lobster inside the roll! At least that’s what it feels like. I got a traditional and the other person got a hot buttered one. The hot buttered one was phenomenal but the traditional wasn’t bad either. The inside is kind of a tight squeeze but the overall experience was great.“
“Busy but delicious. Had a walnut rose and pistachio croissant, both were delicious. The best part though was their house Latte - honey and halva flavour - I came back again the next day for another. Very busy, couldn’t find a place to sit but was happy to walk 3 minutes to Boston Common in the sunshine.“
“You all must try this place!! The gelato is just simply amazing!! There isn’t anything simple about the taste. The flavors are so robust and exquisite! This is one of those places you try and then take everyone you know every chance you get. Highly recommended.“
“I have walked by this establishment everyday to/from work for the past three weeks and always notice how busy it is on Friday night’s. Tonight I decided to stop and have drinks along with dinner after a very stressful work week. This place is truly a hidden gem.I started out with an espresso, martini and a “Snack” Deep Fried Olives with blue cheese. Delicious!!Next, I had an “Appetizer” Pork Belly with citrus marmalade. Not disappointed!!Another expresso martini and ordered Expresso rubbed salmon with arugula and maple glazed sweet potatoes for my main entree. One of the best salmon dishes I’ve ever had. I saved half of the meal so I could have dessert. Ordered tiramisu and another espresso martini. Excellent food and drinks. The atmosphere was very soothing, and a great way to unwind after a long week at work. Mary Beth, my server, was very attentive to my needs, and the bartender, the other staff, are constantly working as a team, to make sure their patrons were well taken care of.By far one of the best experiences, I’ve had so far in Boston area and highly recommend a couples night out, a solo dining experience, or coming as a group. I will definitely be back before I head out of town.“
“First time ordering from here & I was very satisfied with the wait times, food & friendliness by the cashiers & cooks. Atmosphere here is really good & I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who likes Mediterranean food or wants something fresh & made with love!“
“My partner and I had a lovely dinner here. Food came out fast! The eggplant appetizer (pictured) and the spinach stew were fabulous. The mushroom shawarma was also good but a little rich for my taste. I'm already planning my order for the next time I visit. Also very impressed with the beer list.Nice people.Would love to see risers on the clear chairs because the seat to table ratio was a little off.“
“This place is an absolute vibe. They have the best Milk Tea/Boba I have ever had, and their mochi waffles are delicious. Strawberry Cheesecake waffle and Coconut Brown Sugar Boba is my favorite! I first visited about a year after COVID when it was counter service only and you couldn't sit down. I immediately fell in love and now I stop in whenever I can. Now that it's open again it's even better. The staff is amazing, so friendly and they will remember you by name! It makes me so happy to see this place continue to thrive and grow.Oh, and they're also car people. So from one fellow gearhead to another, cheers! A must try place in Boston if you love Boba or dessert ❤️“
“There was a very soulful and fine guitar player filling the attractive, open space with with the songs of Central and South America. A warmth and feeling of community abounded. The food was great and i'd never had grasshopper tacos before!“
“Great brewery with a fairly small selection on tap, but always a well curated one. The space at Bow Market isn’t huge but there’s usually a spot open. The bartenders are very friendly and kind. They don’t serve food but you can order food from any place literally steps away and eat it there. The trivia on Monday nights is really fun and well thought out!“
“Beautiful place but the food was flavorless. I was really excited and the bowl looked truly amazing but the flavor was missing. Perhaps it needed more salt. From 1 to 10 I think it had a level 2 of salt. I wonder if it’s because it’s a healthy restaurant. However, I prefer dishes with more salt because it brings out the flavor. In this case, the bowl had lots of great ingredients but since it was SO low in sodium it literally tasted very plain.I would say though that the place is really nice. I liked the atmosphere and would be willing to give it a second shot trying their the açaí bowls!“
“We visited for coffee and a light dessert after brunch across the street. As you would expect on a Sunday early afternoon the place was lively and very busy yet we were able to get our order in after a short wait in line. Some of our company were more particular about things and their particularities where satisfied quickly and without issue. Very impressed with the hardworking staff thank you very much!“
“Absolutely delicious and authentic style Mexican food. I had the TACOS BIRRIA my girlfriend had the tempura shrimp tacos. We are from NY and here staying at an Air BNB up the road , if we lived local we would be ordering from here at least once a week ! Highly recommend.“
“Nice, clean, convenient local place with kind attentive staff. Nice selection of beers. Join fo I d is cooked in the pub but the Pub has Mexican food available from the adjacent nexixan restaurant which delivers to pub customers. Would visit again if in the area.“
“They have lots of interesting dishes that you don’t usually find in a sushi restaurant in the US. The location is also great, with lots of restaurants and pubs nearby. They also have metered street parking nearby.Parking: Paid street parking from Mon/Sat during the day. Evenings and Sundays are free.“
“Had a quick stop here for lunch, and it was a pretty decent experience. It’s a trailer sitting in a parking lot, but once you get inside you feel like you’re in this small cozy restaurant/small seafood market. The service was ok, the guy behind the counter seemed like he had somewhere else to be, but did his job none the less. The food came out in a timely manner , and tasted pretty good. Clam chowder have it once because it’s all the same for the most part. The lobster roll was packed full of meat , and hit the spot with the warm butter. It’s just one of those places you have a nice experience, but never feel the need to go back to…“
“This was our first time and it was great! My husband saw this place on a show and was dying to try it. We made a reservation at the bar for 5:15 (they open at 5:00..place was full by 5:20)The bartender was attentive, knowledgeable, and pleasant - not over bearing but there when we needed them. The food….the menu was a little overwhelming for me. We ordered a total of 6 small plates. The flavors were amazing. The only reason I gave it a 4 star for atmosphere was my own preference - it was a tad to dark for me (very dimmed lighting)I highly recommend and can’t wait to go back and try more amazing plates.“
“Only just realized I've been coming here for 10+ years but have yet to leave a review. Small, family owned business with love & effort put into everything coming out of the kitchen. Great spot for breakfast & lunch during the week. Highly recommend a breakfast sandwich in the AM or a spicy pork plate for the afternoon! Love supporting Bonne Chance Cafe, thanks ya'll.“
“This is my number one spot to go. The people who work there are so kind and so knowledgeable and really into growing and developing their fantastic business. They work so hard and they strive for excellence and making their customers happy. That’s why they have returned customers. I love this place. The quality of the drinks are above the moon!!! Thanks D and B! They deserve the best because they work so hard and everything is fresh and they love their customers and it shows“
“My family and I were visiting Boston this past weekend and made it a point to go to Flour Bakery. I bought the Chocolate Mousse Cake, cinnamon roll, chocolate cupcake, raspberry filled donut and croissant for us to all taste and every single thing was amazing!“
“I would say that Angels Cafe is one of the best cafes to try if you ever visit Sharon because some of their food is out of this world, like their salads, pastries and hummus. Most people who live near there who don't want to work at home or are meeting people usually go to angels because they have free wifi and chargers, plus just food in general.Vegetarian options: Falafel. Could not say more.Kid-friendliness: Kid foods and fresh Orange juice dispensers.“
“Julia is one of the kindest and most thoughtful human beings I have ever met and her hazelnut iced lattes, breakfast sandwiches, and baked goods are delicious! It feels like stopping by a family member or close friend’s home every time we pop in. Our dog learned the words “coffee shop” because of Julia and her treats. Well worth any wait when they are super busy- Julia genuinely cares about you and your order no matter how many customers she has!“
“Absolutely wonderful! From the young lady helping us navigate the menu to pick out what we wanted,to the wonderful cook Carlos who got our order out quickly and cooked to perfection! These Texas girls(caterers to boot!) We're very impressed! Thank you for making our experience so wonderful!“
“Finally, I tried a breakfast sandwich from Mike and Pattys in Bow Market. It was delicious and loaded with flavor and ingredients but the sandwich wasn't too messy to eat and the bread didn't get too soggy even with the different sauces.I'm not exactly sure why the sourdough bread was an extra dollar vs the multigrain because they looked pretty much the same, but I do recommend trying it out!“
“Students get 10% off on Mon-Thurs.Get a cone and choose as many flavors as you like. If you have layering preference, do tell the staff upfront. The last time I visited, I ordered a large cone with strawberry, mango and pistachio. Flavors were all great!Large looks asthetically more pleasing but might be too much (and too sweet) for a dessert trip. Still overall a great dessert place.“
“I really like this mall. It has shoppable stores for every budget and it’s bright, spacious, and clean. I’d check out the directory before going so you know where to head. Parking is expensive. You’re definitely paying for the convenience. Overall 4.5 stars“
“More of the classic, metal-building production brewery layout than other high-profile breweries making the Boston area's best beer. But, more down-to-earth, too. Impressive range, focusing on IPAs. Lots of seating and free parking. Worth the drive down.“
“My husband and I hosted our rehearsal dinner at Break Rock Brewing. It was an absolute hit! We are huge brewery people and this place was right up our alley. It is right on the boardwalk of the beautiful Marina Bay with stunning views of the marina. They reserved an area for us where we had plenty of room. They don't serve food, so we had our dinner catered by Fat Cat right around the corner. Their beers are delicious and their staff is super friendly. The planning process was incredibly easy and their event manager was very responsive and transparent throughout the entire process. They also had a live DJ and arcade games which were a huge hit! Highly recommend hosting your event here!“
“Love this place and the owners, Rosemary and Hydn! They are welcoming and have a fun assortment of fabulous nutritious drinks, smoothies, and snacks. Kids are welcome too and can even get their own special small drink. So happy to have them in the neighborhood!“
“Bartenders were very friendly and welcoming, other people at bar were also were friendly. Went for trivia and it was fair but could’ve been less guessing type questions. Great beer selection, they also have board games and other events/clubs“
“Maria's Taqueria has very cost-effective and tasty tacos in a convenient location! Portion sizes are great as well. Would definitely consider getting tacos, taco salad and burritos from here and the best part is that it wont break the bank! The service is nice and quick. Atmosphere has room to grow.Food - 12/20Service - 6/10Atmosphere - 3/10“
“It is one of the most beautiful coffee shops in Boston. I loved it. It is delicious. Its coffee is delicious, clean. The smell of Bakri is delicious. I tried their black coffee, apple pie, and flat white. It was very delicious. I will go back to it again and try their breakfast.. I am writing this summary for the Arabs so that I can benefit you “
“Oliveira’s Steak House was the best place I’ve eaten at in a long time. From the service to the food—best of the best. It was worth every penny, and you leave Oliveira’s fully satisfied. The amount of hot and cold food from the buffet was so plentiful and filling, and I like that there were so many choices. Everything was fresh and the place is clean. I highly recommend this restaurant to whoever is coming to visit Boston. It’s a hop, jump, skip away from downtown Boston. I will definitely be coming back for another feast!“
“To be honest, I don't normally eat deli meat, but the pictures looked good, so I decided to check out Fresser's Delicatessen since I was in the area. There is a small parking lot out front and a few counter seats with a small area for ordering inside.I got a corned beef sandwich on marbled rye with Swiss cheese (I basically constructed a Reuben without realizing it) and a cinnamon pecan pastry. My total came out to be almost $20, which feels like a bit much for a sandwich, but I think it is on par with most other sandwich/deli shops nowadays, and the portion size could be enough for two meals depending on how much you normally eat. The corned beef was thinly sliced and very soft. It was also too salty for my liking, but I think corned beef is typically supposed to be saltier (again, I don't normally eat deli meat). As stuffed as the sandwich was, the sandwich did not fall apart when I ate it, which was great, and it tasted even better toasted. The cinnamon pecan pastry was a nice, little sweet to top off the meal. What really made my visit was how kind the people working there were, especially the lady who took my order. I can see this place being a local favorite; definitely had old time, mom-and-pop vibes.“
“Our server was very sweet and very prompt. All my requests to exclude specific ingredients were met. I got the Wagamama Salad with tofu and my partner got the Spicy Pork Ramen and they were both great. We understand that the food here isn't authentic, but wanted to try it and still thoroughly enjoyed it!“
“This is such a lovely cafe!! The prices are great and food and drink tasty! And the atmosphere is fun and beautiful! We were visiting family and took full advantage of Evergreen as a morning fuel-up. Thank you for your awesomeness Evergreen Cafe????“
“Keith and I went to Madre Osteria for the Valentine’s Day Ravioli pasta making class hosted by Gabby. It was such an amazing and fun class! We had a blast making the pasta and we got the oyster Rockefeller appetizer and wine. Gabby hosts the best class - can’t recommend her enough and all the food and service was amazing. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!“
