The service is always wonderful, and the Cowabunga Smoothie is one of my personal favorites. Everything they serve is made with natural, organic ingredients, so you don’t have to worry about a bunch of ultra-processed stuff going into your body. It’s refreshing to find a spot that focuses on quality while still making drinks that taste this good. It’s always a great choice when you need a quick energy boost to keep your day going. “Cute lil restaurant, from the other reviews I went in before 5 and the place was full by the time I left. Food was alright, I had the pad thai that had no peanuts?! The fried onion substitute gave it an after taste, also, they should consider giving the lime wedge on the side like other spots as it was a lil too citrusy for me. I was happy to see the spring rolls being offered at a reasonable price, then realized why as soon as they brought to the table.. they were barely filled! Service was great tho, kind and attentive staff.“

“Hi Mal & Team! Visited Mal's for the first time this past Saturday after driving by so very many times! I am a breakfast fan so was very pleased with the Steak Bomb Omelet and the homemade Hash!! Took home enough for breakfast on Sunday. I was not only impressed with the QUALITY of your food...but the service and the atmosphere. I knew that when I stopped by and saw the wait that it would be good. Actually you moved your guests in and we did not even wait 15 minutes. Appreciated the cleanliness and the atmosphere....the decor that was not only funny but encouraging. Know that you invest in the best equipment like freezers and ice makers. Well Done!!“

“Absolutely love this place and it’s staff! The ice cream is delicious and there is a huge selection of flavors. The ice cream sandwiches are to die for. They are made with homemade cookies, so delicious. Maggie is crushing it! The owner Matthew is so kind and friendly and openly invites suggestions! **Allergy friends, they keep all nuts separate from everything else in the back. We were very pleased. We’ve already made two trips this week!!“

“Food: I thought the broth rivaled a lot of other popular options in Chinatown/Allston. The spicy options were my favorite and complemented many of the options well. I thought the sauce bar was decent but not as extensive as some other places.

Service: mostly self-serve off an iPad - they won't check up too often.

Atmosphere: I appreciate the lanterns and the booths in the back. Will come out and sing for birthdays too which seems to be popular.

Overall: quality across the menu is great, and the soup bases are possibly my favorite in Boston. Can be a bit more expensive than other AYCE options, but generally worth it for the quality.“

The savory breakfast items are especially popular. I personally think it’s good not great (a little too greasy), but their generous bacon-oriented offerings are especially popular.

“A treasure of a restaurant on busy Cambridge St - walk through the door and you’re in a different world. Servers quickly become friends. Great spot for a romantic dinner for two but still a place where a solo diner feels welcome. Wonderful menu with choices for the adventurous and not so adventurous eater. “The quality and presentation of the food was top notch. We were incredibly impressed by the dining room layout and staff. If you are looking for a place to propose to your significant other… this is NOT the appropriate place. As I mentioned the food was the finest I’ve ever had; however, the music was terrible. We felt like we were in a 1990’s discotheque. The music was loud, very heavy beat and not remotely romantic. We did mention to our waitstaff and they attempted to get it turned down to no avail. No coffee or dessert available either. I understand space is limited; however you have two of the finest dessert businesses well within walking distance. Even if you only carry two desserts. I would still go back there for the food with the hopes of different music…even soft jazz would be acceptable.“

The food and drinks were sooo delicious. 😋 I had the Bom Dia breakfast sandwich, while my friend ordered the Greek breakfast sandwich. “This place was AMAZING! We were served at the bar by David, who was fantastic to begin with. He really knew his stuff, made incredible drinks, and was fun to talk to.

The atmosphere was so lively and fun. A great date night spot, or spot for small groups of friends to hangout!

The food was very good. The tuna crudo was light and delicious. The patatas bravas were mouth watering. You really can't go wrong with anything you order.

Churros were the perfect way to end the night.

10/10 experience, could not recommend it enough. It is a quite busy and popular place so can be hard if you don't have reservations.

“This review is based off the cafe portion of Remnant. I started going to Remnant bc Union Square Donuts on the other side had gotten rid of or lost all my favorite peeps (didn't really feel like supporting anymore).

I remember I had seen Remnant served coffee, so my pup and I meandered on over to grab my quad shot Americano and maybe sit in the beer garden. Then I found out my buddy could actually sit inside with me while we stole some of their AC. Then I found out they have wifi and outlets and I could get some work done as well!

The peeps that work there are great and efficient. They move quick even with longer lines and even when they start serving beers and cocktails AND coffee at the same time. They have restrooms in the back that are unisex along with a water station. You can't take your beer into Bow's patio area, but they have the beer garden in the back and a few tables littered right in front of their entrance. You can order food from any of the nearby restaurants and bring it in with you. You cannot order food from a nearby restaurant and use their space simply to post up and eat without ordering something from them - be cool people - don't take up space if you aren't supporting them in some way.

There's so many regulars that you'll get to know a few people if you go often enough. Everyone's super friendly. My dog gets bored as soon as I pull out my laptop to work, but he's made plenty of friends there too, so he still gets excited and pulls me to their doors whenever we're in Bow.

I love their espresso (and I'm picky) and I don't usually do iced tea, but their blood orange hibiscus iced tea is amazing, esp on a hot day. Interested in trying their margaritas at some point.“

Their fixed menu takes all the guesswork out of ordering, starting with fantastic fresh bread and a great salad before bringing out the main star: tender culotte steak topped with that addicting secret sauce and golden, crispy fries. Getting a warm second helping dropped right onto your plate mid-meal is a fantastic touch that makes the price feel like a steal. The atmosphere in the plaza is energetic and comfortable, and the service keeps the flow moving effortlessly from start to finish. Definitely a must-visit in Watertown for a top-tier steak frites fix.“

“Hot fresh bagels with lots of seeds or toppings on them. It’s purely takeout so even if you only want one bagel get three with a schmear and have a party. They don’t have a place to sit, but there are plenty of spots nearby. Go across the street to the Commonwealth pier and enjoy a bagel with a view.“

“I wanna say thank you to the Jana Grill restaurant for the delicious food! I really liked the Armenian kebab, the restaurant is cozy and comfortable. There was an event on this day, but this did not affect the service time, there were a lot of people and i want to say thank you to Dmitry, sorry if i misspelled your name, this is a waiter in a black shirt who helped me with the choice from the menu, especially with dessert it was delicious, very good service! I will definitely return to you. Thanks to the owner of this restaurant for such staff I will recommend this restaurant to everyone!“
