“River’s End offers great food and outstanding service. I stopped here for lunch and ordered the Cheeseburger Plate, cooked to perfection and delicious. The waitress was friendly, kind, and professional. They offer daily specials for a reasonable price. Plenty of food to enjoy. I highly recommend this place to everyone.

“This place is the total package. Everything on the menu is delicious and a little different from the norm. My personal favorite is the edamame dumplings. The staff are a glowing reflection of their manager, Mike. All are friendly, attentive and knowledgeable enough to make appropriate recommendations for both food and drinks. The space is small, but it is cozy and tastefully decorated with original paintings of historical figures tied to New Bedford. The cocktails are creative and tasty. They make the absolute best Old Fashioned I've ever had.“

“I came here with my friend Tanya to have some drinks! She insisted I try the Moscow Mule and I fell in love with it! The girls were great! First time ever going to a bar like this but I certainly enjoyed it! Highly recommend it and the food was surprisingly good for a bar! I had the chicken fries and the bacon wrapped thingies.“

“Beautiful night in New Bedford. Three of my friends and myself wandered down towards the cobblestone district. A street concert was going on. My friends and I went to Rose Alley. Rose Alley of course no longer has the roses but it also does not need to cover the pungent smell of whale oil. This New Bedford mainstay was not packed. The gang grabbed seats on the outdoor patio. We could hear the live music from a few blocks over. Our server was Chloe, who was very great! She wrote down our order. My friend had very specific requirements for his burger. Anyways I had a house salad with shrimp and 1 dozen garlic herb dry rub chicken wings. The salad was...drumroll...a salad. Lots of lettuce...very fresh, diced tomatoes were really good...again it was a salad....had six nice grilled shrimp.

But the wings were amazing. Little crisp. Very meaty. Dipped into chunky blue cheese dressing. I mean the only fault was the celery....but drumroll...fake stick salad :)....

The wings are hands down an A. My friends had the boneless. They had sweet chili for one order and Mozambique for the other. One had fries. One had fried pickles. Both gave their chicken tenders A plus. The fried pickles came with no dipping sauce was the only criticism by one of them. My other friend refused to give me a review and stated people should just come there. He must of like it because he was first done. Overall for 4 people with $103.00 tip $128.00. Chloe, the server did a great job by being detail oriented, by being available when needed, and just really friendly. The atmosphere allowed for conversations, not overly crowded...

I give Rose Alley at 7-8:15 = A+.

“We had an excellent experience with this well run local establishment for a kid's bday party. I had contacted them and they responded prompty but every time i replied to our email chain the responses went to my wifes email. So I was never able to confirm the date but thought they received all the info. I called them a few days before party and they told me they never received emails. I was so embarrassed but they promised they would make it all work and they sure did. Absolute professionals. They accommodated almost 25 kids and their parents with basically 3 days notice. The food was plentiful and great and atmosphere was perfect for a large group of pre-teens. Thank you to the owners and staff of Play Arcade for an excellent day and would recommend them to anyone who reads this.“
