“It's a small restaurant with a relaxed, informal atmosphere and very helpful and friendly staff. The food was special- so delicious that my husband, son and I agreed that this was our favorite restaurant. It appeared that other customers were having similar reactions, which added to a wonderful dining experience.“

“Just went by the Dedham location yesterday and picked up two chicken pot pies and a container of chicken salad. I must say first of all the gentlemen and I didn't catch his name was very helpful and very polite it was about 10:30 in the morning or when you guys opened your doors. I must say your chicken salad was/is delicious. I added some cashew nuts to it too. I'll be back!“

“Food: Everything was so well prepared and delicious. I thought the prices were very fair and you get a generous helping.
Cocktails: These were the true stars of the show, even above the already impressive food. My family went through almost the entire cocktail selection and everything was just amazing.“

“Rubato is a modern take on a Cha Chaan Teng/Hong Kong Style Cafe, with most of the dishes being upscaled or elevated versions of simpler dishes you'd find in other Cha Chaan Teng.
The atmosphere is alright, there isn't much seating when I went and its a smaller cafe, so you can't really sit around if its really busy. I usually get take-out from this place, and the take-out is still quite good even after an hour or two of staying in the container. The service is fast, and the prices are comparable to Cha Chaan Tengs found in Hong Kong, with the food being a good portion for cheap.
I usually get the Peanut Butter or Nutella French Toast. the peanut butter one comes with crushed peanuts on top of the toast, and the condensed milk is drizzled over the top. It has the signature thick bread look and isn't too heavy even with the peanut butter and condensed milk. I also tried the spam bolo bao, which comes with a spam and egg on the inside. I typically don't like bolo bao because of how flaky it is, but this one, although still flaky, was more crisp and didn't fall apart as easily.
Overall a good place to go for a quick bite and to get upscaled versions of dishes from a Cha Chaan Teng.“

“If you’re like me and you’re in the constant pursuit of the elusive Matcha Softserve and anything adjacent to it, you will absolutely love the matcha frapp (more like a milkshake) here. I did not expect an Americana diner in Boston to have such fresh, fragrant matcha but here we are. I forget what the names of what we ordered were but all the savory was 10/10 (tbh the French toast was unimpressive but if you’re in the mood for sweets by all means go for it). My friends were obsessed w the vegan bacon. Wish they wouldn’t stock Zionist yo egg though!“

“It’s a darker curry (kind of sauce-like?) but the katsu was yummy and crispy and warm and tasty ?. The pieces were cut more bitesized but they do the job nonetheless. The cabbage was nice (crunchy). Portion sizes may not be accurate to the display case but the medium was filling enough. There is ample seating in the food court. Efficient service?. Also you order at a single kiosk for both ramen and curry shops.“

“Jackson’s Kitchen has been a go to spot for us for years. I love that we can get a salmon dinner with rice pilaf and veggies or an awesome sub or burger. The diverse menu has something for everyone! Don’t miss out on the meatballs or fish tacos either. I end up getting a few dishes- too many good choices.“

“If you are looking for the most delicious and affordable steak in Boston, look no further than Lucky’s Lounge. Step back in time with this new aged dive bar with picturesque 70s decor, gleaming as if from the set of Mad Men and walls plastered as a tribute to the singing great, Frank Sinatra.
The host is friendly/helpful, but please note they have one waitress on shift. Yet, do not let that deter you because the food comes out quick. The bar has seasonal cocktails at a reasonable price and the bartender is the definition of a good old Boston boy. Lucky’ is a must stop experience in Boston.“

“The food at Café Mami was good, but the service was truly exceptional. The lady working there was incredibly kind, attentive, and made sure our dining experience was as pleasant as possible. One downside is that the restaurant is quite small, with only two or three tables, so on a busy day, you might expect a long wait. However, the overall experience was very enjoyable, it’s definitely worth checking out if you’re in the area.“

“Finished playing basketball and want to have something healthy. Then went to Iris and ordered Cobb salad. It is good with chicken, bacon and salad, they also add avocado with it. Even though it looks like a fast food restaurant, but the food itself is definitely not fast food and worth a try. I will try other kind of food in the future.“

“I am a fan of their res ( stew beef) , habichuela (beans) and arroz (rice ) ? they use to give good portions but things have changed , it’s 2022 now and prices are up but it’s worth it still . It ain’t that expensive. It’s enough to feed two if your ordering a plate for $18“

“Great place, phenomenal food, generous portions. My dish was a lot prettier before I sank my fork into it, lol! My hubby pretty well demolished his bbq chicken (which he says is the best he’s had in years), mac n cheese, and collards before I could snap a good photo. Thank you for awesome conversation, and all the yum ?“

“The owner Bryan is simply amazing! Remarkable finger lickin good chicken with signature recipe. The mashed potatoes is absolute comfort food and the gravy is always equally satisfying
He is very passionate about serving the community with great commitment
The full rotisserie chicken is the real deal by far so juicy, so tender, you’re truly missing out. He has a very unique high quality chicken and his service really stands out. Very much worthy of trying.
My mom loves the fish cakes and the coleslaw is made from scratch, wicked fresh! Don’t miss out :)“

“Sep 2024:
Not a bad spot overall. The appetizer was a bit underseasoned, and the heavy sauce overpowered the flavors. The fries were overcooked and felt more like scraps. However, the atmosphere was pleasant. Service was great!“
