Love Hopewell, my fiancé and I come here once a month, maybe even more than that. The food and drinks are excellent — if slightly more focus on cocktails than beers, fwiw. A little pricy (what isn’t nowadays) BUT they have a nice weekly (Thursday?) chicken sandwich special if you’re cost-conscious. Only detracting mark: beware the appetizers that use the cute little cast irons, I have a hunch (I.e., 2x time food poisoning last fall) that someone might accidentally be...
Great atmosphere and excellent service. It has a friendly neighborhood feel. The menu is not huge but everything they have is very interesting. So far, I have never had a bad meal there so far. It's highly accessible by MBTA green line and bus lines. Parking is meter based and isn't too bad but not the best. I plan on going back on an ongoing basis.
While on a recent visit, Hopewell was recommended by my daughter as her favorite place in Allston; it did not disappoint. Firstly, they are a whiskey bar with a good selection featuring a variety of interesting cocktails. The kitchen offers a nice variety of dishes, with both appies and entrees offering something for everyone.
