Amazing value for a great meal. The steak teriyaki never disappoints and is always prepared perfectly, as ordered. The staff is always friendly and very attentive. I would recommend arriving early and be prepared to wait a little while to be seated. One of the only drawbacks is the limited vegetables for sides with your meal.

I just visited this restaurant and found out it is a sister company to my favorite Jimmy's. I'm definitely going back!

1 st timer but not for others in my party who've been going there for 20+years. Older crowd for lunch, which explains the bland veggies but apps and entrees were delicious and typical prices.

Good food. My fiance likes it because of the healthier options (grass fed beef etc).
I had the steak tips and scallops... Very good.
It's a good meal at a decent price... And it's consistent (which is important)

This restaurant has been around for decades and the food quality has always been decent. Back in the day, they would serve a lobster pie but now they've replaced the lobster with crab.
My opinion is that Grassfields is not what it once was. In particular, the seafood dishes are not fresh. I don't order anything seafood here anymore. Last time in I ordered the steak tips which were good however, just beside me, a couple ordered some seafood which came out smelling foul. They ate it and fortunately the smell dissipated but really, I don't get it. Fresh seafood should not smell foul.
As to quantity and bang for your buck, you can't beat the value here.

I been going to grasfields for a long long time over 35 years so we are regular customers!! really like their menu, today I went in for lunch with my wife I had a scrod, she had steak and crabmeat pie!! I then asked for desert. When asked for the bill, to my surprise a small glass of alverde pino grigio was $15.00 . it was as much a my scrod! i was extremely shocked!!!!!!!!!!! I asked the waitress If the price for a small glass of Pinot grigio was correct she said it was, I will look elsewhere in the future. I understand had I ordered hard liquor or at a restaurant in Boston, but I know its not expensive wine! I will not go back to graasfields I will look else where!

A lot of locals enjoy the quiet atmosphere where you can hear each other talk. Steak tips are our favorite but I like the seafood too. Nice prices for lunch.

Second time at Grassfields and it was even better than the first! Huge chicken parm and the teriyaki tips with broiled scallops was melt in your mouth and full of flavor. Super reasonable prices and the manager Jason was very friendly and checked on us during our visit. We will be back!

Food was awful. My stepdad got food poisoning. I found a hair in my steak tips and the waitress Jackie asked if it was mine when it very clearly was some sort of facial hair (short/thick). The manager came over and asked if I wanted a SALAD instead. Lol. Definitely won’t be back and regret ever trying in the first place.
Went here tonight and ordered the chicken piccata. It was awful. The batter on the chicken was soggy and salty. The sauce on the chicken and linguine was pasty (flour not cooked out). The manager came by and when I explained he said “oh, too bad you didn’t same something earlier, can I get you something else?” Nobody had asked me how it was till my dining mate had fished and Then I was asked if I was “still working on it?” My full plate?? Does it look like I worked on it at all? That’s when I said something about the quality. Evidently too late to get the $17.99 off my bill. He did give us a free dessert, which we split (she was full). The bill came with an up charge if you paid by charge. I didn’t have the $125 in cash so…. I paid the (approximate) 4% up charge, left hungry and disappointed. Probably won’t be back.
