A friend told me that this unassuming deli in East Arlington serves terrific dumplings (momos). I finally tried them for myself this week. They were delicious! I tried the basic chicken ones, but a wide variety of flavors are available: veggie, pork, BBQ style, w/chipotle, crunchy, fried, w/chili; and two others called Jhol and Kothey. I'll definitely try them all. Their menu has a page devoted to Nepali Special Food. I talked with two of the employees and they were friendly and accommodating. I highly recommend this place.

This place is terrible. Has changed hands twice since the original owner left. I went in a few months ago, no Boarshead product in the cases! Stay way from this place !

Since this spot has been under new ownership (since well before winter), it's tumbled downhill. My beloved spicy Italian sub was first a soggy disaster that fell out of the bag it was in due to the level of sogginess, and second time it was literally just meat and cheese on bread. That's just plain wrong. So long, Anthony's.

Sandwiches are good when they get the order right. Somehow what you say over the phone does not translate and they miss toppings. It's happened too many time for me so have to move on.

Thought it might be close to bobs deli in Medford, but not even close. I got the signature Italian, which was pitiful to be called that! Hardly any cold cuts, lots of lettuce and onions on an old roll! If it was $4.50, maybe, but definitely not worth $9.25.T

What a massive disappointment My turkey sandwich had no cranberry sauce which it was supposed to have and the stuffing was extremely overcooked and looked more like an overcooked burger. Additionally they gave me a 2l bottle of Coke instead of the Diet Coke ordered. This is sad because it’s just sloppy and shoddy work. I had high hopes for this under new management place but I long for the previous owner. This experience has left a bad taste and a total swing and a miss! Double check your orders completely before you leave is my advice or better yet Avoid this place and go to Luigis or Olympic instead

Looks like there's new management there, twice this week my order was not correct, and used fozen bread as well.
Food: I've only ever gotten take away from here. I've gotten a chicken cordon bleu sandwich and a steak and cheese sandwich. The chicken cordon blue was dry and lacking. It was small chicken strips with barely any cheese. I definitely won't get that again. However the steak sandwich was pretty good. I ordered it with onions, mushrooms, and cheese. The onions were under done but other than that the sandwich was tasty. The steak was cooked well and it had a good balance of cheese.

If you are in the area of Arlington, MA you MUST stop in and eat at Anthony's East Side Deli! The best meatball sub (and many say this) in the area. Huge meatballs with sauce and melted cheese. The Sicilian square pan pizza is also a MUST! I have many friends that go here to just drop in and grab food to go. It is really an order and take out place with the very best deli and assorted items for you to take home or back to work. Staff is beyond helpful and friendly. A MUST eat stop for great food! Located on Massachusetts Avenue with parking on the street. ENJOY!
