Hadn't visited The Coffee Mug for some time until as of recent since I'm back working in the area, and been back multiple times. Everytime you walk in you have a warm welcome from the owner Effie. Everything from breakfast to lunch is made with love and tasty. I have to yet try the Turkey Dinner Special on Thuradays but will be sure to post when I do!
A homey place where the air is filled with the smell of yummy food. This classic style diner serves breakfast and lunch. The food is good, each dish is freshly prepared, and the service is prompt. This visit we enjoyed the fabulous Blackstone & Classic Eggs Benedict - Scrumptious! The staff is warm, friendly and attentive. For good food served with a smile at a reasonable rate, you can't beat it.
The was not what we ordered. It was cold and the waitress had no personality at all. Hubby ordered an omelette with hot sausage. It came with regular sausage and hot sauce.
