“This is an amazing old establishment tucked away in the pocket of old Town America, it has a giant backstory with a ton of lore. You may see a ghost, you may get ghosted, but you'll still have a hell of a time. Pool, darts, live music, games available some nights, you may even see some local celebrities... the service is impeccable, servers/ bartenders/ staff are delightful, food is top notch. Whatever your jam, come on down and play it at the Otter River Pub aka the Red Onion aka the Onion aka you'll have a damn good time!”

“Staff was kind, attentive and eager to please. Food was scrumptious though a bit pricey the taste was worth it! Atmosphere was bright and clean. Could use some soft Spanish instrumental music playing in the background and perhaps some cool Puerto Rican paint art on the walls to make the place appear a little more festive as an added touch. Will be back soon. Highly recommended to others.”

“Colonial Grille is hands down one of the best restaurants in this area. The seafood is always so tasty. We have always had 10/10 meals here. The staff is welcoming and the drinks are great. Please, please, please advertise!! Your staff deserve to make the most that they can and your chefs deserve the notoriety!!”

“Olde Time New England Seafood Company is an absolute gem, and I truly can’t say enough good things about it. Although this was my first time dining here, my daughter, & son-in-law, (with baby grandson) had already been singing it praises—and now I understand why. We had a marvelous meal! So very kid friendly too! My favorite dish, the whole belly clam dinner, was cooked to absolute perfection. I chose a salad with blue cheese and baked beans as my sides, and paired it all with a glass of Merlot. Superb doesn’t even begin to cover it. As for what my husband ordered, I’ll let him speak for himself—but I can say he was very happy with his meal. The charm of Olde Time New England Seafood Company extends well beyond the delicious food. The service was exceptional. The owner, Ed, and his daughter, Jessie, personally welcomed us and even stopped by our table to make sure everything was just right. Their warmth made us feel truly at home. We recently moved to Athol, and Olde Time New England Seafood Company has quickly become a new favorite. We enjoyed a wonderful family meal in a cozy, welcoming atmosphere. Delicious food, spotless surroundings, and outstanding service—highly recommended!”

“We went this am for Breakfast. It was mine and my son's first time here. no wait to be seated and food came pretty quick. The waitress was very kind. My son had the Red Sox Pancakes, I had the Big Mac Omelette with home fries and my boyfriend had eggs and bacon. I got corn chowder to go and it was extremely yummy! I will be going back.”
