“Went there for the first time last night and had the buffet ,the food was outstanding and worth the $ !! My wife had the onion soup that was very flavorful and I had the buffet that was excellent!! All seafood items were prepared well and flavorful,also the general t chicken was lightly battered and the prime rib was tender and had an excellent flavor!! Will definitely not be the last time going back here and also lastly but definitely not forgotten the staffs hospitality and attention to details were over 5****** ,thank you for a great evening!!”

“Cafe on the Common is always a pleasure. Clean place, friendly staff and owners, delicious food and drink- and all conveniently in Barre center. If you like music check out their open mic or live performances as noted online. Highly recommend.Vegetarian options: There are lots of options for vegetarians either specific veg options such or items that can be tweaked to be veg friendly.Parking: There are free lot spots available but I’ve never had to look past free street parking right out front.”

“I love the building & the very tasty beers. And the most interesting bathroom artwork or posters. A person could stay in there a week & not read everything. I love the history of the area all written on brochures which are all stuck on the walls. I may take my mug of beer & a bit of pizza & stay in there for a long while & just read.”

The staff is always so friendly and we never wait long! We were so happy to see them open back up on Sundays!”

“I have struggled to find a pizza place in my area that I enjoy, is consistent, clean and provides decent portions for the price. Reno's checks all those boxes and then some. Since moving out here 4 years ago, I've tried every single pizza place in Athol, Orange, Gardner and Templeton. Reno's has the absolute best pizza and it's much larger than some of the other shops in the area. They also don't skimp on the toppings at all! The restaurant is clean, they wear gloves when preparing the food and the service is always friendly. They also make an amazing Italian subs, calzones and salads! I don't actually live in Templeton, but drive out of town to come here whenever we get pizza or subs.”

“We eat here often, good food that is of consistent quality. I am not a fan of their pizza, could be more generous with the toppings but their haddock has been very fresh, fries are great, salads good. Nice to have a decent place close by.”

The staff was Friendly and restaurant clean. This is a small self serve restaurant with a nice home town feeling.”

“This is our new go to spot! We have been renovating our kitchen so we have been here A LOT this past week and they do not disappoint! Their food is fantastic and the service is great. We have gotten both breakfast and dinner here and have been super happy each time. Highly recommend!”

“We had a great experience here and highly recommend it! We were in town for a wedding and loved our stay here. The Garden View room was so cool with its 11 windows wrapping 3 walls. The bed was super comfy and the window AC worked well, which is crucial for me. Joe was lovely and always available to help. We enjoyed sitting in the living room with some friends before bed. Joes cooked to order breakfast was delicious. I can tell Joe pays attention to detail and it shows. We would gladly stay here again.”

“The reason we were there was a sad one. The people running the wake were very respectful, Professional, they had a memory board, flowers and a gorgeous urn, there was plenty of food, the woman singing had a great voice. Bathrooms were clean. People had a great time talking and telling stories.”
