We had a phenomenal dinner there last night. We were driving through the area and needed to stop somewhere for dinner. We had a salad, the scallops, split the surf and turf, and grabbed a slice of pie for the road. EVERYTHING was so good. Soooo good! The staff was great and they had live music playing. It was a great vibe!
While the interior could do with a spruce up, and some updates, the food and staff are still worth going for dinner. Best lamb in the area, bar none. We've never been disappointed with our dinners.
I recently dined at The King Phillip in Phillipston, and I must say, it's a gem that's still shining brightly, even after changing hands. The first thing that struck me was the menu – it's as great as ever. I had the Duck à l'orange, and it was perfectly done, a true culinary delight.

King Phillip Restaurant and Motel offers an excellent dining experience. The food is delicious, including phenomenal dinners with salad, scallops, surf and turf, prime rib, lamb with creamy pesto sauce, and amazing signature seafood chowder. The onion soup is perfect, and the firecracker shrimp is great. The menu is huge, with many options, nice salads, and daily specials. The service is impeccable, with a funny and attentive server. The staff is great, and the home atmosphere makes for a lot of fun. There is live music and a band playing in the lounge. It is a great place for both casual and festive outings, and the buffet is well done.
