McCarthy's Pub is a nice Irish pub located in the center of town. Although not a very large place, it can get crowded and noisy, but the overall atmosphere is fun and lively, with Irish decor and laughter. The food is very good with lots of choices and different options, including popular menu items like the Reuben sandwich, fish and chips, and a fantastic corn beef sandwich. The fish is crispy and fresh, while the shoestring fries are house made. The service is excellent, with friendly and fast waitstaff who serve popcorn as soon as you sit at your table. The pub also offers live music, trivia nights, and football on various TVs, making it a great local restaurant that is well-worth stopping by.
