this place used to be good, now we couldn't even get service. went in for dinner. waited 5 minutes at the hostess station for someone to show up. finally 2 young ladies emerged from the back of the restaurant. after getting seated we waited another 15 minutes. nobody came to our table, not even for a drink order. 3 waitress passed by us and just kept walking. we decided it was time to go elsewhere.
Visited this restaurant on May 7, 2025; stopped in a little bit after lunch to grab a quick something to eat on a whim. Katie was our server as well as bartender, was very friendly and professional… She knew her menu and we ordered the cheeseburger sliders from the appetizer menus and each had a New England Claim chowder in a bread bowl. That New England clam chowder had to be the best clam chowder I have had in 25+ years and I grew up in Massachusetts! I’m a very picky chowder...read full review

Arigna Irish Pub & Coal Fire Kitchen Bellingham offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere with quick and friendly service. The menu features delicious options like the buffalo chicken pizza and the coal-fired pizza, though the nachos may not impress. Prices are reasonable, and the live music on weekends creates a great vibe. Customers praise the friendly staff and the excellent New England clam chowder, which is considered the best in over 25 years by some. The portions are generous, and the presentation is on point. Several vegan and meatless meals are available, all tasting divine. However, the atmosphere can be very loud on Saturday nights, making conversation difficult. Some guests have experienced issues with extra charges, and service quality can vary, with some finding the staff unfriendly or inattentive. Overall, the pub remains a popular spot for good food, lively music, and a fun Irish pub experience.
