Have not been there in a while, stopped in last weekend, it took a lonnnnnng time to get your meal, this is breakfast, seems like they make one plate at a time. Stopped in for lunch. First time there. The waitress had such nice dark hair and eyes. I had a coffee and ordered an egg salad sandwich on whole wheat. It took a while, but it was delicious -- I had the impression that they had made the egg salad to order. I was feeling great about it. Got the bill, and was disturbed by its being higher than expected. Asked the waitress, and she pointed to a little line on the page opposite the lunch menu that indicated a one-dollar surcharge...
This place has such good food! It is a hidden gem and we have never had bad food here. Their decor could use a little update (and cleaning; some wallpaper is peeling and what’s underneath needs to be looked at) but we will still continue to go no matter what. The food and people are incredible!
